this performance of Erik Satie's gnossienne #3 by Reinbert de Leeuw is the frst of the Satie extended project. the performance is edited to create one single, continuous piece lasting about an hour, after the model of vexations by the same composer which asks the perfomer to repeat the material 840 times. it was inspired by a dream of being trapped inside a piece of music. i have not altered the recording in any other way.
