@@gropaygrapay Do you think you could explain to me how you did it? I myself don't have Blender, but I'm still curious as to how it all works. I do things with Algodoo (Not on my channel yet) which is a 2D simulation thingy. Maybe knowing how Blender works would help me with Algodoo and maybe also tell me what to expect if I ever get Blender.
@-D13 Sure I can explain! So the first thing I did was made the dominos by beveling a rectangle I made and using the Boolean modifier on a cylinder to make the holes. Then I applied rigid body physics to it and created a plane and applied passive rigid body physics (still collides but doesn’t move) I then duplicated the domino until I got something I liked, made a ball and ramp and applied rigid body physics, and did the same with the steps. Then I re-ran the simulation a bunch of times until I got something I liked, then baked it in so it won’t change. Then I downloaded some free textures from the Poligon add on I have and animated the camera movements. Then I rendered it for about 35 hours and added some sounds to it from a giant sound library I downloaded and that’s about it.
@@gropaygrapay Daaang. I had no idea it was so complicated! Thanks for sharing, I'll keep this info in mind if I ever do get Blender. (Also I actually really like the sounds-very ASMR)
