old to gold. your videos are really relaxing and informative. It helps me reduce my anxiety by watching it before going to sleep at night. :) I hope Turkish subtitles will be added soon. Good luck on youtube, I think this channel deserves +100000 subscribers
Wow, I really appreciate that. I'm so glad that my videos can help reduce your anxiety--that is amazing. Unfortunately I don't have control over the subtitles that are offered on RU-vid, but I hope Turkish will be offered very soon. Thank you so much for your support 🙌
Hi Holly! This paint is flawless! The piece turned out really cute! I really love your attention to detail and all the info you give about the products and tools you are using. You are excellent at doing a tutorial- thank you!
That came out really nice! I definitely like the white with the black hardware. Oh I have to laugh at your Oregon weather clip as I looked out the window this morning and was glad to see it dry! Went to have a cup of tea then let the dogs out and...totally pouring down rain like crazy! Been trying to keep our sheep dry so they can be sheared....love Oregon but rain has been ultra crazy! April 2022 now the wettest April on record in the Portland area. ( we are about 45 miles from P town) really enjoy your videos and bloopers!
Perfect color choice for this piece, it really sets off that farmhouse style. And the darker hardware is a lovely compliment. I bet your client is stoked! Flies do that on my surfaces all the time too, makes no sense!
Hi Holly, you did a beautiful job on this dresser. I'm sure your client will be thrilled. It sure looks like a super smooth finish. From start to finish your work is top notch. Nicely done!🌷🌷
Thank you so much! You are completely allowed to have a different style preference! This was my client's piece & their design so this was perfect for the style of their home :)
I ❤️ the finished look! It really pops now and I love the farmhouse look. Being I'm getting ready to do my own.....I wonder if you like this better or the Dixie Bell? I had only considered Dixie Bell to this point. As it is very important to me with so many pieces that I get this right the first time!
i did like this paint for the most part. i no longer support Dixie Belle, and am moving away from chalk style paints altogether. my new go-to paint is Behr Dynasty. i used it in this video if you'd like to see how it performs: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NU0WbhIKh7M.html
Melange website says it has a built in primer and topcoat. I heard you mention it didn't have a primer. You did correctly though on pine by priming extra because of bleed through.
Hi Holly, this piece looks great! I'm wondering, did you put a topcoat on the handles after you sprayed them, and what kind of topcoat did you use if you did?
Thank you so much, Denise! I didn't use a topcoat for these. If I had, I would have used the corresponding clear spray from the same line as the spray paint. It's called Rustoleum 2X Ultracover Matte Clear.
