I recommend using gel pens as a starting tool for more detailed and intricate designs. I know a lot of health fanatics might judge me for it, but it works for me.
There's 2 types of nail content creators: the tik tok creator that can make the stamper French manicure hack work, and the RU-vid creator who tried it multiple times and would just rather not speak of it
@@yeti1835 depends on the kindof polish you use. I've tried with both regular and stamping polish, and with those two, I'd rather just freehand it. I watched someone that also tried it with gel and acrylic paint. As far as actual polish goes, gel is your best bet, but the lady actually found that out of the three (gel, normal polish, and acrylic paint), the acrylic paint applied the best (based on the how well the application came out, not on even-ness of the smile lines).
My mom is a nail tech and she does my nails and recently she has started to teach me and she even started happy crying cuz my first nails came out so well 😭🤪
I have been getting long nails since middle school and I'm almost in high school. Me personally it got easier as I kept getting them, I learned new things through out my day.
Personally, i adapted: I don't pick up things with my fingertips facing the object (if that makes sense), I use the side of my fingertips to grab things or open cans... I do it subconsciously to not break my nails so it's just... natural😅
I always hated paying for crap nails at the salon. They never come out the way I want and the price is outrageous for shiite work. Learned to do my own and haven't stepped in a salon 10 years now! Actually thinking about becoming a nail tech myself. 🤔
I paint them to make then pretty so I don't have the temptation to bite them and they are so long now. I also carry a nail file (i dont know how they are called in spanish is lima de uñas) everywhere so if they brack I can fix them instead of trying to fix then by biting them
@@its.liv- I mean.. You can still do this on any type of nail really, they don't need to be long. It's just going to be hard because you are essentially using a small frame to paint on. I suggest you just get a Gel Kit and use fake nails, you can just make them really short. 👍🏻
I used to bite my nails to nubs until they’re bleeding & basically just skin, the only thing that got me to stop obliterating them was getting good quality acrylics! I highly recommend trying it out & see if it works for you 😊 but the key is GOOD quality so they won’t easily pop off even if you mess w them a little
