Today we are back at the first beaver dam site to clean back up. Please watch to learn more about beavers and fun facts. Subscribe as more is on the way! Facts of Beavers: facts.net/beav...
I love watching videos of people getting rid of beaver dams because it’s soooo satisfying to watch the water rushing and I enjoy the sounds of the sticks snapping! This video has been one of my favourite ones because of the “fun facts” !!! I’ve learned some new information because of it!! I thank you for a great video from start to finish!!!! 😊
Why not show more of the work? It's unfortunate that you only show a minute portion of your removals. Show how much is in those dams. I know that is why I watch. I have watched some that show the entire removal wether by machine or by hand. I did Operate equipment for a living so I hope you realize I mean no disrespect. I would remove more material from both sides of the dam before digging down to get the water flowing. That way you usually have less of the larger material going downstream and possibly creating a blockage. Just trying to give you some of my learned experience. In any event good work. I hope to see more dam removals by you.
Thanks for the tips! I may make a long version soon! It seems (to me at least) short and sweet seems to keep people watching. But I know people want to see the long version
The Americans per just love to spend more time in front of the camera just talking rather than working or showing you the work they do and how they do it.
don't understand when I watch so many of these videos like this. why so many Backhoes and Excavators do not have thumbs. I would not own or rent one without one. nice video.
Thanks for the fun factoids !!! I've oft wondered about "Beaver migration" ... how to get them to move on down stream to an area that the overflow wouldn't impede the Farmer's fields. My idea would involve use of a "hydrophone" with a flash drive player; battery powered with min drain on the battery pack. The idea being to record "rushing water sounds" and then play back the sound to encourage them to move on. They seem to rush to plug all "leaks" so not being able to do that task (since the water isn't really "leaking") they'd give up and move on. Of course with those sharp and powerful "Chompers", the device would have to be enclosed in a steel cage. Just a thought on how to not harm the Beavers yet give a needed result. Thanks for listening.
I enjoyed it very much. Ive torn up a lot of them, and I've seen some down here in Alabama that were monsters. I know of some that have been let go so long that there is no way to get to them and they cause massive flooding. Keep up the good work.
It's sad to watch all that work the beaver done has gone Those dams are useful for many living species GOD didn't create this in vain. There must be a purpose for all that work the beavers are doing
I explained a lot in the video on why we do what we do! As well as explained that’s it’s just certain areas within the farmlands, there’s several miles down stream untouched. But I’m pretty sure they’re working on getting it back up as we speak. Thanks for watching!
