That's the fear and the biggest expectation, right? The person with the problem needs help not judging. Many times judgement is the reality. Anyway, James' family/friends/work are an example to be followed.
I really needed this video today. I have been in a depression for the last few days and I have let the house go. Today my goal is to do laundry, do the dishes, vacuum, and pick up the bedroom. Hopefully this video gives me the motivation to do these things today ❤
One thing that stands out is not just how you love cleaning - but your desire to help those suffering - that's extraordinary. If cleaning is a form of therapy, you are the best therapist, since you're actually healing and changing lives in a very real way. Not just for the people whose homes you clean, but for those watching online. Thank you
I’ll never forget the Horror House. It was extremely upsetting and frustrating. The way the tenants and courts treated the owner was horrible. Would love to know how the owner is doing and if she was able to get everything repaired. Those tenants should have had prison time for all the damage they caused.
I doubt Elizabeth took this to court. It can get quite expensive, and if my hunch is right, the tenants probably didn't/don't have the money to pay the damages anyway. Even if Elizabeth won in the court, she would be left with more to pay than gain.
@@NiinaOShe did go to court and the tenants claimed it was in that condition when they leased it. Or at least very bad condition. The courts believed their lies. Horrible. The owner’s family was supposed to be helping with repairs.
Hi Aurikatariina! I have written here before and gotten so much support from this community. Since then, my mom died from cancer and I went down an evil spiral again, and unfortunately, alcohol got involved this time. I confessed to my sister yesterday and she helped me get in contact with a local organisation, and helped me clean. I can really see myself in this story. Luckily my sister is a nurse and I knew she wouldn't judge me.
I'm so sorry you lost your Mom, especially to cancer. That must have been incredibly painful for you and your entire family, but you're so lucky to have your sister to lean on a little. I'm glad you two were able to find a group to lend a helping hand; things WILL get better. I hope it's all on an upswing for you now, and also hope you find comfort in your good memories. ❤
God bless you I have had the same situation not drinking issues but denial of death of my mum I just couldn’t comprehend I don’t even know how I got out of the darkness Stay strong 💪 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
thank you Auri! you know there are a few American versions of you, who have been trying to reach out to you for collaboration... Midwest Magic Cleaning, Clean with Barbie, and A Beautiful Mess - they've just completed their own collaboration, and as you will be in the States, perhaps you can all work together... please consider reaching out to them as they've been trying to reach you.... seems like you've become so big that perhaps you are not getting their messages... they've all been inspired by you and all of you working together would be so freakin' awesome!!!
I remember watching Elizabeth's house. That was so heartbreaking what they did to her. Glad that James reached out for help. I hope all is better for him and the others you have helped.
i can't believe auri cleaned an entire hoarder's house with like 4 people, meanwhile A&E sends a crew of a couple dozen to clean out hoards and they don't even get all the way done most of the time. i'm just glad to see auri hasn't been roped into cleaning other hoarders' houses.
the show Hoarders does full American 2 story houses, whereas Auri has mostly European studio/1br apartments... big difference in size@@dietotaku i'm not defending Hoarders, I don't care for the show at all, as it's typical american reality show where, imo, it's more of a trainwreck to get viewers, not as kind as Auri or others
@@dietotakuI think another big difference, besides the size like Jennifer said, is that Americans have a lot more stuff. What I notice is that when Auri is done cleaning these places they are pretty sparse with the trash removed. It's faster to clean trash that you can just throw away than to clean out someone's possessions they may have attachment to I think.
I'm so glad to know how Elisabeth's situation got a brighter turn. I remember the cleaning video and how bad the situation was so it's good to hear she got power back and got the house into a better condition.❤
The James story is so cool! To see that you were able to show him hope by calling quickly back that it led to him making large changes to help himself. Shows how much a bit of help can do so much. Hope he is doing well!!
I am right now watching your video while seeing the mess my kitchen is. Thinking from where to start. Lately my home became depressingly dirty and messy. I wish to have a self cleaning home. Auri make us believing it is not that hard to clean. And magical hard working girl. You probably help millions in this world just encouraging them to start.
Start with your kitchen. First start with the kitchen sink, then work along the stove & kitchen cabnets..Just begin, don't delay! The more you wait, the more weak and miserable you will become..If uou begin, you will feel more motivated when you see how fresh and clean things look after cleaning! Good luck! X
What I like to do is set a timer, say for 15 minutes, then I start working as quickly as possible. It's amazing what you can accomplish is a short time. Stand back and look at what you've done and then comes the realization that the thought of cleaning was way worse than the actual cleaning. I keep my kitchen cabinets clean and organized by cleaning one drawer or shelf a day because emptying everything all at once is too much to deal with. Good luck!
Let's play Auri bingo 😊 Add your suggestions below. I'll start: - "Look at thiiis!" - "Trashes" ❤ - Dishsoap - "I love it!" - Scrub Mommy/Daddy - "Shitsuation" - Power paste - "Ta-daa!"/"Dodododoo-dodoo!" - Oven cleaner - Cling film - *holds up unrecognizably moldy item* Love you Auri! ❤❤❤
Hi, Auri! Sending a big hug from Brasil! Love your videos and can’t get enough of your dedication and positivity ❤ When doing this kind of sped-up videos, what about including links to the original, full-length ones in the description? I think people would like to watch the whole cleanings (I would!) 😊
i love seeing the bottle return and the shopping you do! this is a fun part of the videos i haven't seen. i actually did miss the slow videos this week but this was a fun new video format still :)
Wait, did the recycling of the cans in The Can Chambers gave the money to buy all of those things? Woooooooooooow! I am so happy for James, for that and for reaching out to get help with his drinking problem as well :') You got this, James! You can do it! This is such an amazing channel. Every little one of these homes have a story and a reason why they are the way they are and I am very happy someone like you can help them out for free. Thank you so very much
Same. Sometimes (not allways) when I see her videos I pause them and clean or clean and than watch her videos xD But thats not allways the case. I am not someone where you would say "this apartment is so clean, she must've been cleaning 2-3 times a week" but I am also not the one where you would think "she cleans maybe all 2 weeks but keeps cute care of the apartment so it dosn't takes much" so some parts get cleaned a lot from me and some I just ignore sometimes till I realise I finally need to clean that. My worst enemy is dust cleaning cause this takes too long and comes back too fast sometimes :(
i love the speed-cleaning videos! perfect for my ADHD lol. and it continues to amaze me that you're able to clean any kind of mess with only a few different supplies!
The comment section of your videos are always so positive and supportive! I love to see that you help others and inspire others to do the same. I love to see the love and the community
How can you trash a house like that and then move out to another apartment and leave the homeowner with your mountains of garbage. That is disgusting behaviour.
Elizabeth’s home needs a total re-do in various areas, the flooring especially. Re-painting the walls or re-wallpapering them. Plus a total fumigation inside and under the house. But it looks 10,000% better now that it is cleaned. I hope James gets well. I am so happy his family and work place is supporting him. That’s wonderful. I hope the first young lady does well too! All 3 homes are amazing now!
I love seeing the recycling returns! We dont have those in the states and its mind boggling to see what you can earn from it and the necessities that you purchase for the home
@@arcticblonde Do they have machines like that in stores there? Here in Florida (at least in my area) we have little to no recycling systems, and definitely nothing like those machines. I wish we did though, because that would be awesome.
This kind of mess really creates a vicious cycle of depression and anxiety, and it always ends in a feeling of hopelessness. Depression starts the mess, anxiety makes you feel shameful and paranoid that someone will see it, depression worsens, and the cycle continues. I grew up in a filthy home, and it's hard not to do the same. My house would be well on the way to becoming something like this if it weren't for the fact that my fiancé and I take antidepressants, hold each other accountable, and clean as a team. Our house can get somewhat bad at times, and we feel so much shame for it and are embarrassed when family stops by and steps inside. Lately, we've made it a point to deep clean once a week, or at least once every other week. It definitely helps with depression to maintain a clean home.
vc faz milagres na casa e na vida das pessoas se fosse eu queimava a casa e construiria outra mas vc e sua motivação fazem parecer fácil eu espero que meu comentário te de motivação obrigada pelo seu trabalho
Elizabeth’s situation is a lesson to make sure that all home owners write a clause in the lease contract that they get to do an inspection at least every year, preferably every six months. Two months rent up front to cover any damage can also be a good idea.
While watching I was also wondering that surely there are laws and regulations that safeguard the rights of landlords in Finland. It seems that the landlady and her family were a bit too kind and trusting.
@@priskruger314The house owner has a right to inspect their property. Usually the owners have their own keys and in cases like this I think it's enough to inform the resident that there will be an inspection on certain date and time. I don't remember/know how it's in the law, I have never had a need of it. 😅
@@NiinaO thank you! Sad that it's not common knowledge. Had she used her rights then better for everyone. Even the tenants would have learnt that it's not ok and that would have maybe even helped them :/
In my country the landlord can visit but they have to inform the tenant beforehand. Of course it's their house, but it's somebody else's home and I don't think it's right for the landlord to just enter the house without notice or anybody there to let them in (if it was my house, they would be attacked by my dog if they just entered without me being there). But our renting contract has rules that protect the landlord's rights. The house is inspected before the tenant moves in, the original state of the house is carefully documented. And when the tenant decides to move from the house and end the contract, there is another inspection to make sure that the house is being handed back in the exact same conditions as it was originally. If anything is damaged, the tenant is expected to repair it and if they don't, they will be fined or sued.
I love seeing this! You know ppl are mentally hurting when you see things like this and you are so sympathetic and kind to do this for them! This truly inspires me!
Hey Aurikatariina IF you should encounter anymore PCs with dust on them around the front side where airflow comes and goes. Might bring a can of compressed air and the brush you used to blow it away from the case. Otherwise the dust might cause issues to the PC itself. Anyway love your videos. You bring light to a dark world.
I really don’t care what kind of mental illness the couple in the last story had but there’s no excuse for ruining a home that’s not yours and neglecting your own pets. Those people should get evicted 😠
I wonder why do I get dejavu watching this. Turns out, it was your old cleaning videos. Just this one is 'timelapsed' & your are showing one whole apartment cleaning in one video. This is just brilliant & so satisfying! Please do more of this in future! 💜💜💜
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍👣🎚️🤲💌📬💕🔐 Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you. 😊 I appreciate you. ❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍🙏 Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. I pray we cast our cares on God and not to be anxious about anything but by prayer and supplication, make our requests known unto him in Jesus name amen 🙏
I so wish that I had someone like you near to me because a lot of what I see in your videos I see when I look around my apartment I'm alone and my husband died 2 years ago and I'm disabled and I need help. But you do inspire me so I try to do a little bit more every day thank you so much for your compassion to others. Did anyone else see in the horror house the new kitchen curtains were hung upside down? 😊
I am so sorry to hear you lost your husband... 😢 ...but please, remember Auri say: "Don't be ashamed to ask for help, if you need it!!! You are not alone!!! ❤
If you're in America, Midwest, Midwest Magic Cleaning does similar houses to this, there's also Clean with Barbie in New York and a Beautiful Mess in California.
Having such tenants is a nightmare. If you're renting out just one or two houses/flats and are no rich entrepreneur who owns dozens of homes, such an eviction and clean-up/renovation can bankrupt you. It's very hard to get your money back since those people are usually too broke to be forced to pay up. I'm glad that in this case at least they paid their rent and she got the main cleaning for free, but other small landlords are less fortunate. It must be especially hurtfsince this was her home once, not some random real estate, and they treated it so badly
Thank you for being an inspiration to help those in mental need. To keep things from getting totally out of hand I try and clean at least just 15 to 20 minutes a day however it's still not squeaky clean like when I was more mobile
@Aurikatariina I love these kind of videos. A quick overview of your favorites. Thank you. Question. How do people not have body odor living like this? Plus the smell would go into hallways in apartments. Why didn't neighbors complain to property management? Elizabeth's story breaks my heart. She entrusted her precious home to renters who destroyed it with their hoard inside and outside. Heartbreaking situation. Those renters destroy every place they live. Elizabeth was too trusting. She made decisions based on her heart and not as a business. I hope she sells the house so it is no longer a burden to her. She made beautiful memories there and those memories will be with her forever.
Back when the horror house video was first released (it was a two-parter), there was something about the women who lived in the house being asked to leave a restaurant because of the way they smelled.
@@mfinchina__117oh gee. I forgot that. Thank you for reminding me. And yet they were able to lie and rent a different residence. Auri keeps clients private but this is one situation where the renter's faces need posted.
That second home is heartbreaking. Her parents home was destroyed! If it wasn’t for you, she would have paid thousands of dollars to get everything cleaned.
Auri, please be very careful not to breathe in rat and mouse poop dust. Rodents can carry Hantavirus - a flu that is lethal in about three days. There are other diseases too. Please wear a mask if there are any signs of rodents. Take care! Great videos, you are an angel to help them!
I’d like to see some behind the scenes footage of how you clean off your boots lol do you throw them away each time and get new ones? Those floors are amazingly disgusting 🤩
these might be a combination of old videos that she already made? which is why they're sped up. I could be wrong but the last story sounded very familiar
The James story is very inspiring. So happy that he felt the need to reach out and with you answering it, it accelerated his change and went to call his parents/rehab. Hope he is doing well nowadays.
Sometimes the hardest part is just saying it out loud for the first time, admitting your biggest shame. Once you have said it once, it's like a weight has lifted. I am so happy that after talking to you James was able to open up to his family and get help. ❤ it will be very important to his recovery to return to a can free home. A fresh start.
When Auri tells you your apartment looks GREAT, you should be worried... LOL... Wonderful job as always, Auri, you are one of the kindest people I've ever seen.
I have a question I haven’t seen addressed. I love your channel, I’ve been watching for a long time. The dirty apartments you clean are usually big secrets for the owners. When you come to help them do the landlords, family, etc then know what the apartments looked like? If the people recognize you from RU-vid they know what is going on. If they don’t recognize you, they have to see the equipment, and people going in, and also the large number of garbage bags coming out. Do the landlords know then? Is all forgiven since the apartments look great afterwards? I am curious about the aftermath. Please answer on your next Q&A video.
It’s a very unique and special thing to have the kind of empathy you have. Unfortunately a lot of society looks down on people for struggling based on how/why they got there. This channel has become one of my favorites and restores my faith in humanity a bit every time I watch it ❤
