What is it with families and friends asking people to forgive abusers? Just because y'all related or have a good relationship is no justification for allowing that behavior.
Exactly like I don’t think people realize how insensitive they sound. I especially hate it when someone tells you to forgive an abuser just because they have a good relationship with someone similar. For example let’s say your father was absolutely horrible. And your friend has a good father. When you vent to the friend they’ll say some stupid shit like “He’s your father, deep down he loves you” IDGAF IF HE LOVES ME, I’m not forgiving someone who has hurt me
I agree they should not even consider her (the stepmom) family at that point. She (Birth/legal mom) is trying to protect her babies and her family should back her up.
No 19 yr old should be dating anyone over the age of 27. That is just so weird. In some cases, age doesn't matter. But age is never "just a number" It symbolizes how much experience you have. That's why some things have age limits, some people just aren't ready for certain things.

2:43 In the situation, I think the daughter is at fault. Why would you date a man that's over half your age? And a man who has already married 3 women and have MANY children of his own? The daughter is being SOOO irresponsible in this situation. But at the same time, the daughter is a legal adult. If I were to suggest anything, it's to cut the daughter out of the parent's life for now. She's not listening to anyone, but if anything were to fall, it be on her and not the parents. It's harsh, but it's the truth. I have no empathy for the daughter nor the fiance, and she's not thinking straight.
I beg to disagree. I think this more of the guy's fault because he's the older one here and he should the more responsible and more mature one in this situation. It's partly the daughter's fault, but I think he just manipulated her, because why would he want to live in a different state and why would he still continue their relationship even though her PARENTS are literally against it? He was also divorced several times and has kids who are almost as old as his gf!! If that is not creepy for you then idk what is.
To both of you, it's equal party's "fault". Whether one is creepy and another is stupid, both are consenting adults. Instead of blame, what I'm actually concerned about is that they met _before_ she was 19; who in the world would "meet" someone and get married after a few months? Especially a young girl who now has more of the world available to her, she's not gonna waste most of it with an old man she just met. I think they met when she was younger, and then he revealed he was old and she convinced herself with "love" that it was okay.
Age may ‘just be a number’ sometimes but you should know that people of different wages have many different experiences and maturities, and if your below 30 with someone greatly older than you, it can take away your experience of being young and (mostly) free. That’s all I really have to say but please be safe everyone.

The one about the girl being kidnapped sounds exactly like the 44 days days of hell case. Now im not gonna add much detail so if anyone wants to they can but anyway The 44 days of hell case(and correct me if im wrong) was about a 16 year old girl named junko furuta, one day 3 boys came past and pushed her as she was walking home when a guy came over and stood up for her. She recognised this guy, he was one of her classmates. His name was hiroshi miyano. He offered to walk her home and she said yes, later on she realised she shouldn't have said yes. He ended up kidnapping her and those 3 boys were his friends. They had her call her family and say that she ran away with her friend and didn't want anyone coming after her, now no one could help her so they went on to rape abuse and torture her for 44 days (which is why it's called 44 days of hell) and on the 44th day they went out for lunch and when they came back they found her dead. Now I've forgotten a bit of what happened after that but all I know is that she was so bruised and shit that you couldn't recognise her anymore. Anyway they freaked out realising they just killed a girl so not knowing what to do they threw the body in a concrete barrel. Later on the police found out and the boys went on to change they're names. I can't remember much more but I do know they went to jail so if you have any details you'd like to add the you can.
Dang the first story totally reminds me of the stay at the hotel I have for my brother’s sweet 16 these guys came and they were like fighting in the hallways and they wouldn’t check out the time they were supposed to be here at all in the lobby and they were bothering us in the pool
