My seventh Touhou "remix". (Cover)
Been in this motivation block for a little bit now. Maybe you can tell that in the quality of the remix.
I spent like 5 minutes trying to cut out the long pause in the original remix. The dramatic pause that changes the time signature from 4/4 to 2/4.
Even though the remix itself is iffy compared to my other works, (in my opinion), the video itself is good. I think. I didn’t know that my editing software had an audio-visual convertor right there. Wish I could have found that out before I wasted 10 minutes trying to find one on google that didn’t ask for my email.
About the remix itself: I added some instruments in since they reminded me of bones rattling next to each other, and for some reason, that reminded me of Satori or at least her theme. Even though Koishi’s the crazy, mass murderer out of the two, at least according to the fandom…
Of course I had to add in a ZUNpet. It fits so well with this theme. Screeching trumpets are not usually my thing but it fit here.
I love Satori. I also love her theme. A youkai that can read minds, is hated by everyone, but loved by animals? With spellcards that vary based on your shot type? Hell yes.
If you were to give me a choice between Koishi or Satori… I would have a hard time picking. Both are unique and amazing in their own right. Koishi has her relationship with Kokoro, in canon, and her relationship with Flandre, in the fandom.
