This is the first deck tech video I've seen where all the cards have been showcased and explained in full mechanically along with sample hands. For someone who is just getting into commander, I want to thank you for that! Keep up the great work! I'm definitely going to slowly work on putting this deck together!

Playing Blightsteel Colossus in this deck is huge sin. But I cannot help myself when I burst into laughter when I instakill same guy twice in a row with 4 mana Blightsteel Colossus.

I don’t even play Blightsteel in my play group because I know they’re just going to target me down. I specifically let them know I’m not playing with blightsteel, thoricle, razaketh etc.

I just decided to build him after having the box topper being in my binder for months, the alt art just looks so cool, and I mean even though it's easy to just put any super strong creatures in the deck you can also just put anything big really

Make proxies. Budget solved forever. Literally 6 full decks for $180 If you play zero double faced cards in any of your decks you can easily make 12 full decks if you double side them

Everyone does either big creatures or playing opponents cards. The real power is in abusing ninjutsu with infinite etbs

You can usually cut a mana rock like Mind Stone for this or Gingerbrute.

Training grounds would not work because it only works on abilities on the battlefield, not in your hand

I would also like that. For now I'll be playing buckle up but this sort of deck was the next thing I had in mind. I love the kamigawa asthetic but they only have two precons for that unfortunately and I'm only now getting into magic so ain't rly got a box of cards to look through xD

I made a deck similar to this and i lethaled twice in a row with blightsteel. I made a funny. I swung and made blight steel unblockable and attacked player 2 with blightsteel and player 3 (guy with a big board) with a slither blade. I had 9 mana. 4 mana ninjitsu a random unblockable from my hand returning the unblocked blightsteel. Then used 4 to ninjitsu blightsteel back in to lethal player 3 and secure the win.

How do you determine the power level of your deck? I mean, I'm building stuff but I don't know at what level my deck is right now.

That's hard to do, but I would try to match it with what I think is the power-level of my playgroup. But I think this deck is a little on the high 7ish-8 range if I must give a number.

if you ask me, satoru is the new kalia lol. cheats in massive creatures si what they both do, tho satoru doesn't need to be in the danger zone, can ninjutsu multiple times a combat, has less colors, and gives card advantage. also doesn't care about the creature type
