Come see what the yard sales had for us today! Kendra Scott, Ann Taylor, Sterling, Amber, Ruby, Opal, Gold, and one big Gucci Faker! thatgirldinamarie@gmail.com
Wow, great finds again Dina! I LOVE that sea themed bracelet, just gorgeous ❤ Be careful cleaning the opals and Pearl, opals can crack (happened to my mum, she was devastated) and pearls shouldn’t get wet either I don’t believe. I think I need to get a presidium tester and acids next, I keep putting off the investment!
Thank you! I thought those pearls looked weird! Thank goodness I learned on a relatively inexpensive item to follow instructions on the bottle lol! I have loved my presidium! The acids are SUPER cheap, but yeah the presidium is definitely an investment!
@@thatgirldinamarie1 I might go for it next month 😬 drives me mad not know what something is for sure and then I can’t list it, I’ve got a whole box of things that need testing 🙈 I’m so clumsy though, I worry about having acids in the house!
@@jewelrescue I have actually bent down to pick something off the floor and stuck my cheek in the acid. I immediately washed it off with soap and water. It stung just a little, but left no mark. In my opinion, if you are careful it caries little risk. I think you just have to be super careful if you have kids, or cats that would jump on the table you are working on.
I love your enthusiasm Dina. You're a breath of fresh air. Please don't ever put genuine pearls or opals in any cleaner. They're far too delicate natural elements for those. But you can clean the items in warm soapy water with a baby's toothbrush and then only clean the sterling or gold with a jewellery cloth. Love your channel, all the way from Australia. ❤❤❤ 🦘🐨🦘
Thank you, Lyn!💕 I needed help with how to clean. Thank goodness I just started using this new cleaner and those pearls are the only thing vulnerable I had cleaned so far💞
Thank you, @lynmiskell4830 ! I needed help with how to clean. So bummed I ruined those pearls, but so glad I did not dunk the opals!!!I am not dunking anything but solver from now forward. 💕
@That Girl Dina Marie Don't beat yourself up. We have to learn things the hard way sometimes. You only took the nacre off the pearls. They just won't have their irrdessence now, but you can still wear the bracelet. I really wouldn't use the dip for metals either, they're really harsh on metals, too. I've learned that too. Nothing is more comforting than cleaning metal jewellery with a good quality cloth. Try and find a Connoisseurs cloth. I bought one in Walmart, last time I was in Canada. So try Walmart for one in the USA. Love from Australia. Good luck. 💕💕
@@lynmiskell2835 I am definitely going to stop using the dip stuff. I just bought it the other day, and today I started cleaning my just silver jewelry with it and I did not like how powerful it was. It made me nervous so I switched back to using the cloth and took the time needed to polish everything. It took a full day to do only about a quarter of my sterling, but worth the effort to protect my beautiful jewelry!!!💕💕
Pretty sure the Amber necklace is an Amber teething necklace for an infant/toddler. Should be able to unscrew the clasp. That’s why it’s hard to undo -for safety.
