When a person hurt or disappoint you, a wise person my mother, told me to say to myself over and over " they are not the person I thought they were, until I realize this, I will never get over it. It truly works. Also my mother told me "there is a fork in the road, right way and wrong way. If you go the wrong way, you can always back up or turn around. God Bless! I'm recently coming out of a grieving process and thru therapy learned that everything I was going thru was normal. I'm now working on getting over the disappointment of folks that I feel should really show up for me (shit) atleast a little bit! Sending good vibes and healing energy to you Scott! 🤲🏽❤️

Scott I feel your hurt, it can literally drain you. Friends (people) come in categories. Put them in their place in your heart. You have control over that. I, too share some of the same experiences as you Scott. An "s" attempt, depression, and I quit my job in my early 30's. After getting professional help I slowly got mentally healthy. I'm 46 today and I have cut out a lot of people in my life and changed my phone number that I had for 30 years. My friend circle is tiny and I'm a happy person today. Thanks for sharing Scott 🤎
