Amazing. I'm 40 and I was just showing my 26 year old friend this and telling them all about the TV programmes for kids during this era and just how awesome it was to be a kid back then.
Those toys r us adverts would send your imagination into meltdown when they came on , visiting one was on par a Muslim taking pilgrimage to mecca Our nearest one was in Luton and when we drove passed it once my face was pressed against the glass like a window licker on the happy sunshine bus
I think this is my most watched video of 2023. I just leave it on in the backround sometimes just listening to it. It sounds, it juat sounds right. I love the continuuity, the adverts for WCW wresting, Kenner Aliens Toys ect. Also love the mention of The Charmings because i remembered the show but couldn't think of its name. Thank ypu for this, happy new year and hope you do a follow up to this.
Thank you, that's great to hear! I did put this together a while ago 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BFQH1-skbZo.htmlsi=nbekimyGeJHI9EUc , but another 90s compilation could be good, Happy new year 🎊
It's great that there are some animated series from through the 90s are released onto complete DVD like The California Raisan Shows, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula and Avenger Penguin. l but I still wished more of my past animated series are finally released onto complete DVD like Albert the Fiftrh Musketerrs, Dr Zigbag's Transylvania Pet Shop, Space Cats, Biker Mice from Mars, Creepy Crawliers, Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa, The Mask, Yoga's Treasure Hunt and Blazing Dragons because they're still not released yet. I can only hope maybe Pidax Animation could make it happen since they have released a lot of my favourites cartoons onto DVD like Super Mari Bros, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego, Street Sharks, Mummies Alives, Extreme Dinosaurs, Startla and Jewel Riders, Thundercats and Sliver Hawk or even better SDBD Blu-Ray like they did for Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog and Street Sharks.

Because in Britain most of us just had the bog standard 4 channels , kids Saturday morning TV on BBC or ITV gave a sense of togetherness as you knew millions of other kids were also sitting in front of telly same time as you shouting at the TV answers to the gameshows played on them
Definitely.. it's a feeling I've never quite been able to replicate, I do sometimes get up really early on Saturday, before my family are awake, and watch old cartoons on RU-vid... But, it's not the same......
@@thegoodthebadtheuglyshow Hehe I remember bumping into an old primary school friend outside local tesco and the first thing he said to me after many years was 'This growing up stuff isnt quite what it's cracked up to be is it mate ' Not gonna lie, as someone who's sober now 24/7 , chasing that nostalgia hit is pretty nice , I was listening to early to mid 90's chart songs and it was nice being in comment sections with loads of other 90's era kids all discussing their favourites that got played at primary school discos
@@dorkbrandon4422 The toys from the 90s are also just as amazing, I'm gradually becoming more of a collector than ever, the whole lockdown thing probably played a big part in that 😁
@@thegoodthebadtheuglyshow That's cool I stumble across youtube channels showcasing 80s and 90's kids toys from time to time . Power rangers toys were my kryptonite as was the reigniting of the thunder birds series and the chaotic craze of every kid wanting a Tracy island with stocks running out everywhere resorting blue Peter to teach people how to make your own one at home Thankfully I got one for my birthday I even had a thing for cereal toy collectibles from 90's and followed a channel who sold loads , I made a few purchases from them as I was gutted to find they were no longer in the loft at my mums
@@dorkbrandon4422 always a sad day when stuff isn't still in the loft 😔 loved the Power Rangers that had the changeable heads, amazing memories, and yes loved the Gery Anderson 90s stuff, I had a load of Stingray and Space Precent toys, working on a Food Fighters video at the moment, as that's a toy line that interests me, bloody hard trying to find the figures though.....
that fucking muppet babies song came on and I knew all the words Edit to Add: What the fuck is pugwall and why can i also sing half the theme song to it?
