Don't worry about losing your hair Eddy it's quite the in thing these days, I started to loose my hair in my late thirties it's never stopped me from doing anything in my life I'm 73 now and happily married and living in phetchabun Thailand get your treatment done and get back over here mate.
Eddie the hair will bounce back just like you will. Keep your eye on the prize of your upcoming trip. Wishing you all the best and thinking of you always mate. 👊🏻
The best vacation I ever had was a five day Mexican vacation. I was in your same boat healthwise at the time but when I came back to Canada all turned out well and I am still kicking ten years later.
For me Business class compared to economy is the difference between Heaven and Hell... I am 6' 4'' and 5 foot around my waist so 12 hours in an economy class seat is absolute torture
We packed all that economy shite in 8 years ago ,, its business class or we don’t go now , but we still manage annually on the long haul , then on our 4 hour flights to the canaries we get a stark reminder of being squashed up like battery hens 😂😂
When on a low-cost airline and business class is not on offer I will buy an extra seat. If you are flying with a friend then the middle seat empty is a luxury
Your looking good Ed, keep it up and lets have some good news when you get your next MRI scan, and you have got a great mate there, we all need one, cheers mate.
FYI when I worked O&G Industry they usually flew me BC . Night and day my friend. Once you get used to it you'll never go economy again except for shorter flights. If you only fly once in a while then it's up to you
Watching a program on the mighty MEKONG RIVER iv been on it booked a tour in a local.travel agent in saigon!! Lunch was included. This program showcases cambodia Angkor wat etc cheers Ed I hope u get there as thats were u was about to go cambodia
Let him see how his trip in Europe goes and how he feels early next year. He's already said he hasn't got full abilities and has to be cared for, that's why he's keeping his trips short and from places he can fly to more locally from where he is staying because overnight buses to Heathrow alone will be unsuitable right now.
Wouldn’t fly with British Airways if it was free 😮 flying Oman Air to Bangkok end November, last time I flew with them - very good but have paid for extra legroom, worth every penny on long haul
Your Francis Bacon comment had me laughing out loud! You amaze me with your devastating wit and breadth of cultural knowledge m! Do you have an interest in art? I ask because not too many people are familiar with the works of Francis Bscon.
I recall a Southbank Show program on Francis Bacon. A very strange little man, raging alcoholic and his art is quite startling and almost brutal. Not works that I would want on the wall, almost as outrageous as Gilbert & George who pickled their own turds as art.
Ed did you ever meet the guy who inherited Frances Bacon's estate? I met him in Soi 13 once, " flamboyant phil" I think he was called. Had a permanent apartment in a top hotel in Pattaya! Nice guy brought an afternoons beer for everyone in the bar!!
There was some connection to the Krays in London. I actually think he got shot while in Thailand. I think you can probably google this to see I am not making this up! 😀
You need to talk off your sweatshirt and get some sun while your at "the beach". And take it slow at that beach... like the natives, surf, and palm trees are.
He said in the video he's unsure about it. He needs to see how he gets on travelling on a short break close to home first, his abilities are still limited and he says he needs his friend to care for him and he says he has concerns about visas for Thailand.
Also he's said in the video that he doubts he'll be in Thailand in Jan, and that's 4 months gone which is a long time in terms of terminal cancer. He can't predict what his health might be like by then.
I think that it's a bit cruel that people try to get Eddie's hopes up. He's even kidding himself. They told him that his cancer cells are aggressive and he's barely able to move an arm and a leg. It's difficult to know if the nonsense he speaks is 'putting on a brave face' or he's a less intelligent fella than I'd thought.
To be fair I think Eddie is talking sensibly to a degree, you can tell he knows that Thailand isn't a very sensible option but some of his followers are relentless at pushing him to go and seem to have no clue about the realities of terminal cancer.
@@londoncabthailand4028I think Ed is being fully sensible and honest in the video and has expressed his own concerns about attempting to return to Thailand. So many of his followers don't seem to listen to a word he says! The posts on here saying "book a flight to Thailand" "when are you going back to Pattaya" - that's what's annoying when they can't be bothered to listen to him and take on board the situation he's in. It's not fair to badger him about something he'd love to do but is trying to get his followers to understand that he can't make guarantees that he can ever go there.
Do some of you listen to a word he says? He's already got a trip booked which he's had booked for some time because he's an intelligent man, he's uninsurable for a start, he's voiced his concerns in the video about visas! He also said he can't manage without his friend caring for him! He needs to see how he manages this short trip first, a trip that he'll be able to fly to from a more local airport and as he has said numerous times, he can easily get home via land transport if something happens. He's said he's unlikely to be in Thailand by Jan and 4 months is a long time in his situation. He understandably doesn't want to end up alone and declining in a 3rd world country that's 13 hours away by plane.
