I have visited Whitby for 65 years including before I was born! Stayed every year in the summer at my grandparents. My grandad was born in a house up one of those ginnels in 1902. But, despite knowing Whitby so well, you managed to discover some hidden gems I’d never noticed.
Love Whitby, especially the steam-punk vibe. It looks like the seniors really get into it. That's great to see--people of my age being cool! lol Love the music you guys put in your videos--you have good taste.😊✌
Visited Whitby last year but had to leave after half a day because of a family emergency. This video has made me determined to get back as I loved what I saw.
I absolutely love Whitby! Great video, as you showed us around, little side streets, that people visiting, could easily miss! It's very quaint, with it's little fishing harbour. Visited Whitby many a time, whilst living in county Durham, when my parents when visited, but back home in Wales living now! Have a great week both along with your doggies. Love Dawn & Jay🥰 & little yorkie Charlie. 🐶 Woof 🦮🐕🦺
Fantastic vlog again guys, been to Whitby so many times but never in the evening and it just looks amazing. At the beginning I had no idea where You were walking and Claire is right it’s a parts that’s pretty much forgotten about. What a great addition to last weeks edition. Looks Like you guys had an amazing time. 🍺🍺🦴🦴
Beautiful-all of our very favourite places in Whitby, which are mostly fantastic pubs. Whitby is stunning, thoroughly enjoyed this Vlog. Thanks. x An Edit to add-brilliant tune-Thunder!
Hi Clare, Andrew & doggies. Thank you for sharing your time in Whitby super vlog. Looking forward to your next Whitby vlog. We are staying for 2 weeks soon. Take care, Gary & San x
Just two weeks ago we sat in the Fleece overlooking the water on the balcony, couple of pints and cheese and onion batch 😋, we only spent a few hours and it's nice watching your trip to see a bit more of Whitby, we will visit again, very Piraty 🤣🤣
Hellloooooo, Lovely to see the other side of the harbour, yes most folk miss it 😢. Ww have been there at steam punk weekend its brilliant 👏. Whitby at dusk looks stunning so calm and peaceful. You're braver than us taking on the steps and graveyard in the dark 👻. Loving the vlogs and watching you have a great time. Take care and enjoy as always 😊 Paul and Joanne 👍 ❤️ ♥️ Making us want to go back for a cheeky long weekend 😉
Andy you missed the plaque on the main bridge in the middle of Whitby, it was made at Qualter Halls up Stocks Lane in Barnsley. Great video again loved it.
👏👏👏brilliant as always you two it’s a great place to go is Whitby…Claire if Andrew is getting dressed up in part 3 don’t let him spend money he just needs to put the Dryrobe on and carry a scythe he will scare the Be-Jesus out the older end🤣🤣 the reapers revenge 🤣🤣👍🏻
Blimey, you were lucky that Draclier chap did not get you in that graveyard. We are there next week for a couple of days (Whitby, not the graveyard), should be busy as I think the folk festival is on. Good an excuse as any to have some beer.
Over the road ( from Endeavour pub) is Humble Pie & Mash gorgeous little place you can take a pint from Endeavour there as they don't have an alcohol license Love The Fleece hopefully I'll be sat out the back this weekend - my friend is coming visiting for folk weekend ❤ beautiful spot especially when the sun is shining ❤ In between the shops on Church Street there's lots of little alleys with little cottages hidden away ❤ Aw I used to work at the Pavillion had some great nights on the bar there - hard work but really enjoyed it ❤️ Also had a few cocktails at the Moon & Sixpence 🍹🍹
Love a bit of Whitby stayed on same site a couple of times the walk down to the beach is lovely! …. Also Sandsend is nice to drive down to, The Hart Inn is nice pub n food . When you getting the Ducati Andy?
👍👍 Another great wee vlog guy's, why was a lot of people dressed up.... Oh... , 2 pints, 2 chips & cheese, a harbour, what more is there to like ❤❤, have a great rest of the week guy's 👍
We visited Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay few years ago , lovely scenery and history but the dog we had at the time was quite elderly and found all the steps difficult, now we have a younger dog that can’t manage steps at all 🥲so probably won’t go back. Whitby looked lovely at dusk , you’ve done some great filming of different coastal places at dusk recently, quiet and majestic 🤫 which is what us grumpy old gits prefer 😂x
I really enjoyed this pub crawl. As I watched this I had the drink when ever you did. I even had one went ewe sore a beer on the table. Spect you wonder if I could walk up them steps. spake care ant in tha mourning should be clean headed. Cn't find th door now..........
Proper German Beer doesn’t give you a hangover , because they won’t allow any chemicals in the brewing process ! True ! Everyday a School day Andrew 👍🏻
Loving these Whitby episodes ❤❤ you were really enjoying your time there lol. Ps How many did you have slurring your speech😮😮 something I never do, oops did I say that out loud😂😂😂
Could they host that cheese-rolling hill competition down the steps and ramp, because I think the place they normally hold it is a bit safe and predictable ?
ok, sorry but to let you know I had no choice but to blame you both for the reason why my list of chores wasnt completed on the wifes return. Thanks for your understanding😇
