^^ I know. I find Vedic Astrology to be very complex. I really want to get into it and understand it. I'm planning on buying Kapiels book and get a birthchart. Have you read the book? Is it good?

I have not read the book but I read other things. It is very complex. For now I just know about the ascendant, Nakshatra and Atma Karaka and a few planets placement.

Oh ok. I've focussed on Western Astrology so far. Not sure whether I find Western or Vedic Astrology more convinicing yet. It seems to be an either or kind of thing. So much to learn :-) Gotta love it!

September 13 baby, 1991 ^_^ (happy belated bday to myself tyvm) Virgo Sun, Leo Moon, Leo Venus, Virgo Mars, Virgo Mercury, Aquarius Saturn and Libra Rising I mean given that I'm Fire and Earth dominated, and that I'm an actual Virgo, I feel like I am somewhat qualified to speak on the nature of Virgo. And yes, I am willing to look past it.

TheMCLamb4ever I have 1 Virgo brother (August 31) also and I have 2 Virgo friends (Virgos are strangely hard for me to point out)...most of my other friends are Libras, Cancers, Tauruses and Leos. They're all chill. But the Virgos I know are far from being prim and proper. I feel like some people forget that Virgo is a mutable sign - flexible, adaptable/changeable, and versatile. Despite the fact that Virgo is a discriminatory zodiac sign, by no means is the reality of a Virgo "black and white." Virgo not only recognizes the /natural/ quality of things but is also prone to /enhance/ them. Virgo is also a self-improving zodiac sign with a knack for detail and pulling things apart and putting things back together - craftsmanship is what Virgos are known for (and a bit of creativity). That can't necessarily be associated with the black-and-white personality trait that you seem to emphasize at the beginning of the video. That trait goes with a more strict, narrow-minded zodiac sign like Capricorn. And Pisces...well, what can I say about them...some of the ones I know aren't, mm, fully equipped (if you will) to take on the world. But I'll leave it at that ^_^

(I've watched some of your videos) But I just felt compelled to shed light on the overall nature of a Virgo.

Hi Awesome Dude. Being natally a Virgo moon at 28 degree (old :)) I completely agree with your understanding of Virgo at it´s best. For me it´s a scholarly thing to do to give meaning to astrological placements and signs as neutrally as one can while on the other end there´s of course our personal experiences with people with these placements. I just don´t think it´s the case where subjectivity is here to overshadow objectivity and vice versa :). But concerning Capricorn, how it behaves in one´s chart depends of course on where the Saturn is located. I have strong Capricorn placements cause I have my sun, mercury, jupiter and south node in 10th house natally, but my Saturn is at the same time in Cancer and 12th (and I´m also Cancer rising)- and my Saturn is (Saturn is feminine if you don´t know) anything but aggressive, but she is definitely a doer who knows how to protect itself. I´m really "best of friends" with my saturn and she´s a solid rock that keeps me grounded- cause I also have pisces midheaven which goes for me through 4 signs up to Gemini.

When you have Virgo on the cusp of 2nd and 3rd house (and Pisces on 8th and 9th) that just means Mercury (and Jupiter) rules more houses than usually. It also means that you have a pair of intercepted signs in your chart.. if the 4th house in your chart starts in Scorpio, that means you have Libra-Aries polarity intercepted in 3-9. If those signs have any planets in them, those planets are also intercepted. Intercepted planets are not as incarnated as others. They sometimes indicate things, that are hidden and are revealed later (with certain transits or progressions).
