*SEGA SATURN is the best machine in the world to play Arcade copies and have bonus features like special better music for this classic!!!* ❤️ ⭐️ ❤️ ⭐️ ❤️
Notice on the demo during the start u can see it turn nice and smooth on the corners. That's how u can drive on original xbox and arcade. Instead of tapping. Does this game work with the 3D analog controller?
I still recall the day i walked over to Out Run the stand up cab in an arcade in Soho, London. It blew me away! i knew i was playing something special. I mastered the Arcade game until i reached the end of 3 of the routes. The big deluxe sit in cab was something else! ^_^ ..weird, i just gave this video thumbs up no.512 :D ..and yes, i do also own Out Run on the Sega Saturn, Japanese import machine for 60fps ^_^
Dude that’s literally me walking past an arcade in Soho aged 8 with my dad - I didn’t play it but saw someone else playing the sit down version and I’ve never forgotten it
What about the US that had to suffer with blurring image quality and low resolution in order to get those extra 10 frames? Sadly living without the option of rgb. The Europeans had it pretty good and their games were timed for 50fps and the music wasn't timed right in ntsc regions.
Todd, wasn't the NES version of "Dragon's Lair" from MotiveTime, a UK developer, intended for 50fps? Also, people have said that that game plays better in 50fps.
Gotta say, you had a great childhood, bud, especially when this is an arcade title ported to home. Not to mention that I like how the Saturn captures the retro Sega arcades perfectly (well, almost with House of the Dead).
@@sonicexereaper6814 Yeah, i got a NES then switched to Saturn and PS1 right after, on Saturn i got the sega Ages compilation with space harrier and after burner 2, legendary arcade titles
After seeing the Saturn's 3D Outrun prototype, I'm glad they did it as 2D closest to the original arcade...don't get me wrong, I do like the NFS for Saturn, Daytona USA, Sega Rally and so, but that thing wouldn't be good at all
Your website seems down, which is a shame. Oh well, glad the youtube channel is still up and running, really fun game to play. Music is absolutely stellar.
The Saturn version is a carbon copy of the Arcade. I have the Arcade cabinet and the Sega Saturn version and they are Identical. Maybe it just sounds different playing from youtube. I have to check but I think you can choose newer version or classic versions of the songs.
3:57 & 3:59 Do you have some type of cheat code going on or does this version have small hit boxes on the cars? I saw the collision early on, but after that there are some areas where the cars pass right through the player's car. Just curious.
Glad you played the Japanese version - the European PAL version has that weird car sprite glitch if you head left on overseas track thru Gateways.... 🤠👍
Magical Sound Shower is in my top 5 favorite compositions in all of gaming (at least for classics), and I'm not feeling the remix here, either. All of these except Splash Wave sound a bit like someone took a Roland SC-88 and made Muzak out of them. I'm supposed to feel like I'm racing down the highway frantically getting from one goal to the next. Now I'm just waiting for the elevator to ding so I know if I'm on my floor. At least the originals are here.
