Another great video, your camera angles and lighting were perfect, and I can say yes to all the questions at the beginning lol... such an elegant solution, great explanation. looking forward to more!
Very cool. I live on back country roads and the speed limits out here are 55+. Iv been thinking of getting an OD to try and keep up so I’m not in everyone’s way 😂
@@thelarsongarage Well I can guarantee that you’re gonna love it It’s basically like having a splitter a gear in between gears will make Wheelin more fun
thanks a bunch for the vid , with any luck i will put one soon on my truck . aside from the fourth shifter turning any willys from bad to baddest , i love how the shifter is kept in place by creative use of the t 90 top cover bolts , and wondering if they supply a slightly longer bolt in the kit or if it is deemed uneccessary . have fun with that 3b and keep us updated on the progress thanks again jj
So by the looks of it u have the t90 trans; I have the t84 trans, but the trans doesn’t matter .. it’s the Dana 18 transfer case that matters - so this could be put on a wartime (44) willys jeep… so I guess I’m gunna have to find and buy one…
I am asking this question because I don't know and I am curious is there a adapter plate that you can use your willies transmission create in Chevy V8 engine do you know if not that's OK I would just like to know I was curious I have a chance to get To get me a 1947 Willy's but it does not have an engine transmission but no engine so I was thinking of a small Chevy version eight motor if you could please let me know I would appreciate it thank you very much
Hi Kenneth, I would check out Novak Adapters, they have good write-ups about conversions and strength of factory transmissions and transfer cases to see if it would hold up to V8 power. I have an adapter from them in my CJ-7 to mount my Dana 300 to an SM465 transmission behind a Chevy V8
Thank you very much for the information I really do appreciate it sometimes nobody wants to message you back and let you know what’s going on so thank you again have a good day be safe and careful
