If u want fame and recognition and brand deals, sign a deal. If u want 100% of your money less recognition and work for brand deals, stay independent 💯
@@christurner5682 got to have the funds to be successful independent, to start off with, while on the other hand, most labels gonna fund to make sure you heard and seen, So if you have enough to invest in yourself..independent is the way to go, but if not, Signing to a label could launch you off to eventually do your own thing later.
The apartment analogy is gold. The reason why you're not getting recognition is because you only have one floor. If you keep building up, eventually you'll start making real money with that building. You gotta keep going.
