To those who have been part of this journey, thank you so much! My goal was to document everything I saw in Saudi to the best of my ability, to show you what it was like on the ground with limited plans and organization. To show you natural interactions with locals and how I was treated by them. To present a truth that I have not found presented to me living in the West. Because of your Saudi Vlog, my family is planning a trip to Saudi!

I am currently in Riyadh, almost a month now, and I am European. IMHO Peter's vlog series about Saudi Arabia are the most sincere, unbiased and objective presentations of this country so far. I am here because I've opened a daughter company just 2 months ago - so far we've recruited 6 young Saudi employees - smart, open minded, educated in the West, perfect English, all of them had traveled to many countries and had seen all kinds of cultures. Hard working, dedicated and eager to learn new things. Sometimes I wonder how the Western media is so biased, single-sided and focused on the bad things...probably, because scandals bring clicks, views and sell better. Another thing most Westerners do not understand is that Saudi Arabia is changing and opening so drastically fast in the last 2 years, that any faster pace would break the fabric of the society.

I am a private chef and I’ve had the great opportunity to work for visiting Saudi folks here in USA (and I’ve just been asked again) My experience was awesome and frankly I’d rather work for them than most Americans!! Lol - If they ever asked me to come over there To do a project I’d do it in a second! I enjoyed your series :)

However, seeing your channel here, you are really doing what you’re preaching. It’s always about people not politics. People love and respect each other naturally. Of course they’re different cultures that someone may not agree with and that’s okay as long as it’s respected. I feel like many politicians playing their nations across the world. As someone who lives in the US and grew up in Saudi, it always amazes me that there were so many American expats in living/working Saudi, yet also many Americans here only assume of Saudi based on what they hear on the media. Saudi Arabia is a beautiful country We all love it

I went to work in Saudi Arabia in 1978-80, a young single blue eyed blonde nurse. My first year was in Khamis Mushayt just 12 miles from Abha and really enjoyed your segment on that area of the Asir province The highways have definitely improved and the area has definitely developed. I then spent my last year in Jeddah and recognized many parts of the old city-it has become so modernized, Thank you for taking me on a trip down memory lane .

I felt sad because your journey ended. Thank you for conveying our true culture to the world, and we look different from what the media shows. I really hope that you enjoyed every moment you spent in our country and loved the people and dealt with you. I don’t know what happened behind the camera, but I thank you very much for conveying this positive image and I hope to return again at times Many to come and thank you very much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦

I'm from Kuwait, right next to Saudi, even tho I know most things about the cultural aspect and I have been there multiple times, I'm taking notes on some of the places you visited that I didn't even know about. Thanks for your video series about Saudi. I just found it, and between your trip and now, we have a pandemic that disrupted so many things. However, your videos show many things people don't know and don't believe when they haven't been here. I live in Saudi now for more than 2 years and can only confirm what you have experienced. From all the places I have been to so far globally, this is the most hospitable place, and everybody is really open and kind. More than once, I have been invited for a coffee or dinner by strangers who were just curious from where I come - I haven't experienced that anywhere else to such an extend. And yes, things are changing so quickly - I really look forward to experiencing what happens over the next decade. Thanks to your videos, I now know some more places I have to explore. Travel reports like yours help to overcome stereotypes and connect the world - thanks for that good work!

Western media is just awful man truly.

When I was a kid I always wanted to be a Jedi knight. But getting the lightsaber is super difficult. So now thanks to Pet santelli`s brave inspiration I plan to travel to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and enroll in a martial arts school and become a Jeddah knight. Far more realistic of a goal.

I worked in Saudi Arabia for 7 years and I found the Saudi guys very helpful and friendly they are welcoming and nice out of all the guys I met, I was once working on a wellsite in the desert and the Aramco foreman offered me out for tea in the evening in the town of Hotat and what a lovely evening I had just talking to the guy having our tea and Arabic cakes, I will always remember this moment in my time there.

I'm going to Saudi Arabia for the first time this Saturday, for two weeks to visit my parents who have worked there for five years. I think the clothing for women is pretty relaxed now, our mum just told us to wear whatever we want as long as we are covered, no need to wear a hijab. Really looking forward to going, your videos have been very eye-opening.

Regarding safety, praise be to God, my country is very safe, and there are bad people because we are human and people everywhere there is bad and good, and I wish you and any person to meet good people anywhere in the world🙏🏻

I have learned two things from the Saudi Arabia series 1. The Saudi people are so warm, welcoming and not at all like the stereotype we see in Western Media 2. Peter has a very large cranium thats hard to be contained by traditional Saudi headware 😁

Just spent 3 weeks in Jeddah with family. Everything you said is true. My preconceived expectations were completely off base.

I really hope you can go on Joe Rogan, talk about your travels, especially Saudi Arabia. As a Saudi American, video vloggers such as yourself makes it easier for people to change their perspective. I lived outside of Riyadh during the first Gulf War (my work was in Riyadh). We weren’t accepted quite the same as you but many Saudis even then were very hospitable. I am happy to see they have reigned in the religious police since I was there. Thanks for doing this series.
