SAUDI KING ABDULAZIZ BADGE OF HONOUR OF THE EXCELLENT CLASS CONFERRED UPON AIR CHIEF
27 February, 2024: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was awarded King Abdul Aziz Badge of Honor of the Excellent Class, the highest military award presented by General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, Saudi Armed Forces on behalf of King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud . it is the highest military award presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it's conferment on the worthy Chief of the Air Staff is a matter of great honour for Pakistan.
The Air Chief called on General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, Saudi Armed Forces and His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki Bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces, during his visit to Saudi Arabia. Meetings were focused upon further promoting Pak-Saudi defence ties, particularly between the two air forces through joint military exercises and technological collaboration. The Air Chief highlighted that Saudi Arabia being the center of the Muslim world and a significant strategic partner has longstanding religious, cultural and historical bond with Pakistan.
The visit of Chief of the Air Staff to Saudi Arabia and the conferment of the highest military award upon him by the Saudi Government is a testament to strategic partnership through continuous collaboration.
