The UK and USA have also been doing for decades what China is accused of, though not to that degree. Infrastructure projects were for projecting power, deepening influence and catching smaller dependent nations in a financial bind with the donor. UK's DFID projects send back around 50-70% of the loan amount back to the UK in terms of fees and living costs for expensive expat consultants, UK "technical agencies" who provide inputs and so on. Google the percent of amounts sent back to the UK for a power project in Chattisgarh in the late 90s. A Union Minster had made a comment on this project which was withdrawn because the local government did not want to privatise the power distribution system as much as the UK consulting agencies wanted.
I heard that there was a new BRICS currency being created - like an IMF SDR - but with limited circulation, that is backed by gold or some such thing by each country... that currency will be used only for trade between the countries within the BRICS system - with complete capital control preventing leakage into other use. for eg. each of BRICS contributes $10B worth of gold to create circulation for this currency.
Firstly i remember Ankit shah saying that $ to rupee it could come down to 1 is to 3. But he never said that gold would be even traded in $. In the future, gold indices may not work as per the West as it has always been as Russia, china and India combo can have their own exchanges...

There was never any written agreement if there’s one then show me. It’s not a dollar but swift system developed by USA made moving dollar in every part of the world. So unless and until a system has been established as alternate to swift dollar will still be a major currency.
In one of the previous interviews Dr. Ankit Shah had predicted that the INR will touch ₹90+ per USD before USD starts declining. Would like to know the latest take on this. Any revisions in this prediction ? Also what's the reason that USD will bounce before falling ?
Even though it will multi currency system in BRICS countries but the reference system for value exchange would still be USD isn't it? How would they calculate or fix each currency?

I see de dollarisation is popular, TRP creator. Building alternate currency to dollar - many many questions need answers- who guarantees its value, will it be pure inter country trade currency or whether all its member states will use it to replace own currencies? Whether a new brick bank will emerge to monitor this currency ? I think de dollarisation work in progress - needs atleast 5-10 yrs to take strong roots Till then dollar zindabad

All these analysts predicting the geo political, Economic upheavals like Ankit Shah and channels like Pgurus should be made accountable if things don't happen the way they predicted. This sounds more of speculation and guess game for the audience which wants to hear such things.
I see some as round about way of justifying some of the inactions of the government. Today the education is under government, without them getting out of it, how can people takeover and decide the syllabus?? Your guest is interesting but I wish he would quote more data rather than only provide analysis. Many conclusions don’t make sense without more information. For example, how would gold backed currency work when there is not enough gold in the entire world 🌎 to back the BRICS currency basket. Also, the idea of gold backed BRICS currencies conflicts with each nation not converting to a single currency like the EURO 💶. Obviously, central banks want to be able to manipulate their currencies at will. But how does that make the BRICS currencies a safer bet than the US Dollar?
@@modern.mumukshu I appreciate the feedback. I keep asking myself a question: What BRICS currently (or Treasury/Bond) is a better financial bet than the US 🇺🇸 dollar 💵 or EURO 💶? A gold backed currency sounds nice but why not just buy gold? (I have so many questions). But the bottom line is that value (and return) always matter to investors.
@@arvindkgupta65 That’s a nice idea but not a single country on earth does so. The BRICS countries don’t want to do this either because it would mean a loss of control for their central banks.
@@ActFast gold backed currency in 2024 is not at all feasible. In reality, nobody has any idea of how the future currency will be designed. Brics can never have a single currency like Euro because of historical problems between India and China, China and Russia.
