Love the "brains" part..........In the 1967 war the Arabs left their arms and tanks and fled the battle fields and ran home but Iran without any help in the Iran Iraq war fought almost with bare hands.
And what have those powerful friends earned Saudi Arabia so far speaking of all the wars the Saudis have been involved in? From Yemen to Syria, they're losing badly. It's funny you brought that up. The Saudis have a coalition of over a dozen Arab countries with support from the West against simply a faction of Yemen--whereas the Houthis receive minimal support from Iran.
Unlike Iran, Saudi Arabia is ruled by King. So, the King does whatever he wants for his and his family's benefit. They don't have to care about anyone else.
CMStPP Iran is very close with Russia and possibly China. Iran also has control over Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon. Saudi Arabia is basically surrounded and they know that. I have no love of Iran but I honestly can't back Saudi Arabia and there blatant stupidity.
well, lebanon is pretty secular. and hezbollah is really the less extremist option of the two. you saw the same thing in syria: people broadly supported assad because they saw him as less crazy than the saudi-backed rebels.
jasmine bats my goodness. Jasmine, your world must be full of rainbows, unicorns and friendly Jews, all mythical creatures....unfortunatly, the real world isn't.
Pawel Huszcza looks like you might be a paid troll. If you're honestly that stupid to believe Isreal has NOTHING to do with this, then I ask you, on behalf of humanity, to please not reproduce. Thanks in advance.
Nah I think this is a TRIO. Saudi and Israel, want to pin this war on each other so the other doesn't have to do the dirty work. They have motives and benefits in sinking Lebanon but, something our history tells us is, both of them will never succeed.
Guys I am 14. I am very afraid I am lebanese And I don’t want war.. Lebanon, is my place of birth, and I don’t want to see Lebanon being like Syria... This is very sad... I don’t want war ! I hope they will resolve the problems without violence. PLEASE UN DO SOMETHING HELP US WE WANT PEACE 🙏🏼 Amen and God help us
Saudi Arabia and her allies lost in Iraq, Syria, Libya and now Yemen but did they? Who won in those wars? I can tell you that it doesn't sound like Iraq Syria or Yemen have won anything, as they look like ruins. These modern wars are nothing but genocide and I sometimes wonder if that is their real goal in the region and not just the resources (how much resources have been lost fighting for them?).
Leigh Foulkes .......When the bombs and rockets start falling on Riyadh.....we will see who the winners and losers are .......Fighting the Hoythies in Yemen will seem like a picnic to the Saudis........Compared to fighting the battle hardened Hezbolla , Iran , Iraq and Syria
Pete & Suely Mellott According to CIA they were involved in 9/11, but we did not say or do anything, not even asked them to apologize. There is something awfully wrong here! What is happening to us?
Saudi needs israel because israel is the big boss. They, the israelis, have the final say of who to be made billionaires and who to be imprisoned and live a pauper. Nobody wants to live miserably especially after living luxuriously since birth as the princes of saudis. The saudis need israel and Israel make them slaves to the agenda of the greater israel, the eretz yisrael.
Well done Professor, nice explanation. You are gracious because we all know that Israel and Saudi Arabia are working together to invade Iran at all costs. After all they collaborated together to launch a space mission to Mars in conjunction with UAE.
Why would Hariri , the Prime Minister of LEBANON............tender his resignation as Prime Minister , of LEBANON in Saudi Arabia ...........It's unheard-of
What a stupid question...at 18:46 saying they never asked the Lebanese population about intervening in Syria' The USA intervened in Syria and never asked the US population!!
God willing, may sanity, sincere and forthright dialogue, and peace, prevail in all of humanities dealings, especially in the Saudi, Lebanon, and Israeli, situation.
are the saudis going to invade? the saudis have been trying to invade lebanon for years through their proxies. it seems like they're admitting defeat and pulling back on their proxies. i think there _is_ reason to think this is a prelude for invasion.
i think you need to look up what happened in 1967, jasmine. israeli could, in fact, taken on the entire middle east, if it came down to it - so long as they can find a way to keep the turks out of it. if the turks sign on, they're in trouble.
I remind our dear professor in 2006 Saudis supported the war on hizboulla and favored the resolution 1559 which was brought to the security council by no other than the USA
Dear all who claim that the 5 days royal hosting in Saudi was arresting, Hezbullah had killed Hariri's father If Saudis have forced him to resign, then that would because he is no longer politically valid in Lebanon as Hezbullah had taken over everything and they should be discriminated from ruling Lebanon by any means necessary including the military force
Kihunte Kimossa Thank you!!! It is sad, isn't it? But well said: "What a shame on the so called UN, how could anyone country kidnap another country's leader without the UN saying anything about it?"
I'm smart Jaccy. That's how. Irsc Keep forgetting you should see what live audio said would happen. I'm top cutting people out is not taken lightly. So I've been busy. Sorry.
Those nice Saudis wouldnt hold anyone:against his will. Hurrah for Lebanon. There has been a serious Lebanese immigration in Oklahoma. Check out 'Ali' in Rogers and Hammersteins 'Oklahoma!'
The Qatar blockade, the unification of the Saudi military under the new king, the "new" CIA/bin laden papers info on Iran/terrorist link, the cancellation of the Iran deal, the fleet in the south china sea, the preemptive strike on Syria's air field, Israel's increased aggressive behavior on the Palestinians. each on their own mean little but adding them up does show a very aggressive pattern that can indicate two things, preemptive war posturing and weakening soon to be enemies or instigating/initiating a first strike/defensive rhetoric for war. War is coming.
i dont undertand why Arabia very easy for TO MAKE WAR AT LEBANON IF HAVE PROBLEM WITH HASBOLLA NOT NEED MAKE WAR. ISRAEL.AND US LIKE SETAN TO MAKE THIS COME THEY LAUGH FOR THIS..WHAT IS POINT TO MAKE WAR..THEY NOT THINKING ABOUT LOTS OF KIDS BABY AND OTHER STUFF..WHEN ARABIA HAVE PROBLEM WITH HASBOLAH I THINK CAN TALKING AND MAKE OUT FROM PROBLEM.IF ARABIA MAKE WAR IS SO STUPID NOT MAKE BETTER AND WHAT IS POINT!!!
Iran is desperate to change the subject of this crisis into the where about of Hariri!A day before Hariri's departure to Saudi Arabia Velaity who is a close counsellor to Khamneiy and ex foreign minister of Iran went to Lebanon to meet and to menace Harriri.Hezbollah is a proxy militia of Iran which has the support of 11% of Lebanon's voice. This Madame Amal Saad menacing Israel and USA hopes avoiding the pay back of terrorist group of Hezbollah for what they did to Americans and French in Beirut under 80's of last century!
All she's doing is spitting Iranian Russian propaganda. I would make sense for Hariri to leave since had no power at all he was just there to stabilize the situation between Saudi and Iran. Now that he's gone he pushed Lebanon into full Iran control. Aoun is stuck in the middle now know not knowing where to direct the Christians. Iran is winning that war but both sides are equally as bad. So RIP
The majority of the Lebanese people dont support Hariri. He's just in office cuz Saudi Arabia backs him. He acts like a buffer in Lebanon, and if he' being held against his will in Saudi it does not change anything ... That just makes it better for Nasrallah to continue taking over Lebanon which seems like a horrible strategy by Saudi arabia. the thing that bothers Hezbollah is that he hasn't said anything, so they don't know his game plan. They're coming up with these accusations to put pressure on him in order to give them some closure on the resignation.
