“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15
Thank you so much for allowing your videos to be used for Sunday school, youth groups, etc. We literally have 8 kids in youth group and 5 in Sunday school at our Church and can't afford the big price tags that accompany so many curriculums!!
Our church (Bible Study) is willing to pay for the download, but the DVD really doesn't do us any good. Can you provide a method to pay and download and MP4 file?
I wish I could. I’ve approached the publisher multiple times to sell these as downloads but with no success. This is the only way they sell them, and since I don’t own them there is nothing I can do. The only thing I would suggest is you borrow or buy a cheap dvd player for about $25 and plug it into your laptop. Sorry. I wish I could do more.
Lots of problems with accuracy. Some examples. In Acts 7.58 Saul is described as ‘a young man’ a short time before this journey. Also, he was and remained Jewish all his life. Here he does not look either Jewish or young. He would never have considered himself to be a "Christian" as this was no a term used by followers of Jesus to describe themselves till some 50-70 years later. I could go on and on, but this gives you some idea as to my concerns. Clearly well intended and implemented. You are very good at this. It just would be so much better if you gave the same attention to detail to the text of Scripture.
Hi Brad, thank you for your comments. I created this animation for a denominational organization. They wrote the script and it was approved on several levels. The word Christian comes up, not because it is a word the disciples used, but because it is a word the viewers (especially the young ones) can understand. As for Paul's appearance, over the years I have drawn Paul this way for several different Christian ministries and denominational houses for their Sunday school materials. I have kept Paul's look consistent regardless of his age so the kids can recognize him as the same person in all of their materials. As for his appearance looking Jewish, how can you tell? I don't draw people stereotypically. I try to use a variety of facial features and skin tones so as to make the material relatable to the broader audience using the curriculum. It doesn't sacrifice the veracity of the message, so why does it matter to you?
Good question. Sometimes when people spend their whole life studying God totally in one direction ... and then later they are told that their direction is the wrong direction, they get angry. Paul was angry because the Christians were not believing in God the way he was taught all his life. Then when Paul met Jesus after he was crucified and raised from the dead, he realized that he was taught the wrong things about God. That's when he repented and placed his total trust in Christ.
