In reference to your experience on the identity check at the airport. I think you are making a big issue of it. Romanians are lovely people as is the country. I think you are too “proud” that you are British passport holders and believe by being “British” gives you right to suspect racial profiling. Focus more on decent content not slur. The amount you two talk about your passport and being British since getting naturalised is outweighing your reputation. Any border control has the absolute right to check identity at anytime.

Specifically, why was only one person chosen out of 100, and why was that individual of Indian appearance? This raises concerns of potential racial bias, considering there were approximately 100 individuals who appeared British and only two who appeared Indian. The choice of singling out the sole Indian-looking person is troubling from my perspective, even if it is not from yours. I want to emphasize that I have no objections to identity verification by border control.
