Sauron Lord of Darkness - 10,000 Men/Elves/Dwarves | Rise Of Mordor Total War Gameplay. Sauron Lord of Mordor has entered middle earth and is ready to destroy the will of Men, Elves and Dwarves in this massive battle. Sauron has mustered as man evil creatures as he can to once again become Lord Of The Ring. I am also using the Rise Of Mordor unit pack which give me access to the men of Gondor and the Dwarves.

Jackie Fish when you were talking about the uruk-hai shields their shields were actually generally small except for a few, if you look at the battle of helms deep the ones on the walk to the gate had large shields but most of the others had small ones. And with lurtz when he fought Aragorn

Tbh i think theyre the correct size, the animation is just not how the shield should be used correctly for its design weta did.

Actual uruk shields are that big because for the mobility and their insane strength to be unleashed because with a big sheild, it will just get in the way

How exactly would that work? I absolutely love Star Wars but I have a hard time seeing how Total War style combat would support Star Wars. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think TW battles are compatible with the kind of combat that took place in Star Wars. I think the same could be said for modern type warfare as well. There are a lot of other games that have game play that supports that style of war. I suppose you could just change the skin and make the units look like Star Wars type units but that is all they could really do without completely altering the entire game play. Having troops line up in a nice neat line wouldn't really do SW justice.

Martin Montieth I really hope they never take Total War in the direction of modern warfare. Wouldn't be a proper total war, I play it for historical type warfare. If I want futuristic gameplay than I will play one of the countless games already out

TheRealJD 22 That was pretty much my entire point. That game is drastically different than any of the TW games. It works on a game where you can tell individual troops to do specific things but it doesn't work when you have a bunch of men in a single unit who literally line up shoulder to shoulder in a nice, neat line. It just wouldn't work. If modders tried to do it, it would be nothing more than just a re-skin of units. The re-skins work for GOT and LOTR because the combat system is the same. Star Wars warfare however is drastically different. IF CA were to try to do it they'd have to completely change everything that it does in order to properly make a Star Wars game. None of the warfare in TW games are compatible with warfare in the SW Galaxy.

In LOTR mods for Rome and Med 2 TW Sauron too was not really strong, but in campaign once you take the ring back from Frodo and give it to Sauron (as a trait) he becomes really powerful.

Might remember that the Uruk-hai were the creation of Saruman "after" his fall from grace. The orcs that Sauron would have been associated with were the Mordor and Misty Mountain goblins. And Sauron would not have had physical form after the loss of the One Ring. Next time someone puts something like this together, this is my main profile. Am easy enough to find on the Net. Even in the Second Age it would have been the King of Angmar (leader of the Nine) leading on the field.

No wonder the gondorian infantry we're being butchered, jackie's army had mostly gold chevrons whilst the enemy had none, nevertheless I love the great vidoes!!! Those elves remind me of the noldorin mod for skyrim, especially the shield.

I just cant wrap my head around the fact that they did a warhammer game instead of a middle earth game for some fucking reason....opting for a less explained lore ( not saying that its not explained but we're talking about middle earth here) , with a probably smaller community since the lord of the rings trilogy is so old... and making the game so restricted even in modding..i mean, i think its obvious wich would make more money..

Can I please ask a stupid question? Can I somehow get back Total War Rome-s controls in Rome 2 and in latest addons or dlc-s when in battle? Cause I don't like how the camera acts in battle mode, I don't like how it zooms in and out and sort, I tried to fight in Rome 2 and Attila, zoomed in and I must say I felt a bit dizzy and disoriented, It must have been because I'm used to Total War Rome-s configuration or whatever it's called, I do want to play this latest games and soon a grand strategy mod will come out were the option to play as my country will be possible. Please can anyone please tell me? Thank you in advance

That was kinda weird though you showed Sauron's health which was almost full then zoomed in and he died was there a cut that I missed? Or did he really die at almost full health?

Well in Attila units don't have health like in Warhammer normally the bar shows the amount of men they have

Warhammer is a much newer game, and there are no flying units in Attila. Don't get your hopes up.

you say that but its the same game engine i think its a matter of finding the code in warhammer and porting it to attilla, granted easier said then done but its the same engine etc so there should be no reason why not)
