My child is 4 years old and he was diagnose with Autism disorder when he was 2yrs. This song reminds me that, Mungu ana makusudi yake, mtoto wangu amezaliwa na Autism. and he can still archived anything he want in his life, because he is avery blessed child. Na kwa wazazi wenye watoto wenye matatizo, please wapendeni ni watoto kama watoto wengine, na wanakuja na bahati zao. ALL KIDS ARE BLESSED FROM GOD. WE SHOULD LOVE THEM WITH ALL OUR HEART. MsKuki86 I believe the song is not their perspective of what African are. It has nothing to do with unfaithfulness or lack of self control. You are being pessimistic on this, am afraid. The song's focus is the issue of abortion. Abortion takes place even among married couples, and the song is simply a message to everyone that abortion is not the way to go.

For all of you who think this song stigmatizes women... I think you're wrong... This song is almost a prayer.. Praying that you don't abort... Even though the circumstances under which one gets pregnant might be unwanted, that child, I believe, feels the pain... You were once a foetus in your mothers womb... She didn't abort you... She kept you because she knew you would be great in your own way some day... To me, that's what this song is about... It has touchy issues... But that's what stood out to me.... You are a result of a mother who said she wants the best for you even under the very painful and yet unavoidable circumstances... That's all I have to say... Sauti Sol .... Awesome song though...

I know what you mean...I went through the same experience last year, I was contemplating abortion. But my spirit refused. I had no idea I was carrying an angel. I had a rough 6 months of pregnancy, struggling with finances and studied, but my child was growing strong irregardless of the difficulties even upto now his a really tall, big baby and really active. My son has been my pillar of strength. Thats why I named him Edward.

'Nakuomba Nereah, usitoe mimba yangu' means ' I beg you Nereah, please do not terminate my pregnancy/ abort my child' That a child comes at God's desired time and the child could end up being a great person in the society. So basically the song speaks against abortion. (hope that helped) :-

My sister and I have loved Sauti Sol since we were little, and when we'd play them for my parents, they'd love them, too. My dad would be like "Oh, these are the guys who performed for Obama." When I fell in love, we listened to Sauti Sol. I told the people at my church about them and their love for Africa. They made Pompi smile. They started an education programme when they were still broke, and now they make my forced daily guitar practice bearable😂I appreciate you guys more than anything. I might even learn Kiswahili eh

Is that really a good reason to have a baby? What if it does not work out that way? Realistically, there's no guarantee that your child will grow up to be a celeb/superstar. There are advocates against pregnancy in Australia and U.S at the moment. There is need for translation for the message to reach the world for women and younger girls to make more informed decisions concerning their actions and pregnancy. This too is an opportunity to do different and make a different decision. Ultimately the mother makes the decision to keep or not to keep the pregnancy.
