Savage Dawn - Good Bad Flicks 

I was in the movie. But, I managed to stay in the Biz anyway. The villain Pig Iron was William Forsythe. He fell off his Bike the day and broke his leg. Then he bailed claiming he had a better gig. Myself and Meatrack were bumped up to the main villains. That's why we are around to get thrown off the Silo and get strung up. I could spend an hour telling you about the insanity. Keep up the good work on bad films.

Lance Henrikson is always awesome. He can sit in a chair, read a phone book and occasionally raise his eyes to the camera and still be awesome.

Richard Lynch was one of the greatest bad guy actors of all time. I'll never forget his performance as Mikhail Rostov in Invasion USA.

Just got this on VHS, to go along w/ my Biker Flick collection. This one is very 80's-ish in contrast to the more 70's-ish & 60's-ish ones I have. Classic review!!!

I'm guessing that wasn't a prison, but a military base. The 'guards' were dressed, albeit poorly, in Army dress uniforms. There is also a scene preceding that where the Savages are riding into town and there are a number of military vehicles parked along the side of the road. I'm pretty sure they were supposed to be breaking into a military base to steal the equipment, but any explanation was edited out because, you know, who has time for continuity and story-telling in a non-post-apocalyptic-post-apocalyptic film?

Lance Henriksen scares the shit out of me, and I'm forty years old. He has an intimidating screen presence, that's for sure.

The fight choreography, dialog, multiple "yee-haw's" from the Savages, the fact that Lance CLEARLY doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle (I mean, he's dragging his feet in the opening credits and the walk from the gas pumps to the fight... Amazing). The list goes on and on. This is one of my favorite GBF' s of all time. Many of your points were brought up during my viewings as well. Thank u so much for this. I think one of my (many) favorites is when Stryker opens the door to the cop car so hard it closes so he has to open it again. This is shortly after he pulls an off-camera surprise. God I love this movie

I didn't even recognized some of the casts here who became well-known today.

I ad-libbed all my dialogue. Karen Black and Claudie Utdy had a fight scene. After the director yelled cut they kept fighting! It looked like cage fighting. We had to separate them. I could go and on. Stop me please! I'm flashbacks!

Bought this on blu ray from the states without even watching it purely because of the cast and the fact I’m on a mission to collect every Richard Lynch movie i can get my hands on. After watching it i found myself pleasantly surprised and on the hunt for more similar movies like Eye Of The Tiger, Ruckus and Stone Cold

Actually, the concussion and noise from a shooting tank is directed mostly to the front. It isn't very loud to those a top the turret. Also, there is no fire in the turret when the tank shoots. Both individuals standing in the hatch of the firing tank would not have any problem.

The henchman falling to his death at the end 8:18 is very similar, in both voice and appearance, to Judge Doom in "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit."

I'm trying to find a film you mentioned in a since removed foreign gore list involving an Australian couple fighting drug dealers. Does that ring a bell, I've looked everywhere but to no avail.

In Mad Max the gang leader and right hand man were killed before finally killing off the henchman, so there might be some explanation for this movie going the route. Arguably Johnny in Mad Max might be the main villain, but didn't some people also have an issue with the kill order at the time?

You need to do one about Tobe Hooper's Invaders from Mars. PLEEAAASEEE!!! It's one of the scariest movies from when I was a kid. Those monsters were legit scary. It's an awesome horror for kids.

just finished watching this, pretty good until the big action scenes at the end , where the bad guys dont shoot at Striker at all , then he disarms them one by one , throwing the gun away each time ... And yes! , they robbed a Military base, or National guard armoury - that was the "prison" the two soldiers with M16s were guarding :)

This has to be a post apocalyptic movie.

Dude there is a movie with Lance Henriksen where he was playing some crazy space pirate - there were micro bombs put in people - bodies exploding and the main char was some young dude part of a special commando space team ... something like that - it was an 80s or early 90s movie ... any ideas? Space pirate or space revolutionary... by the way... keep up the good work!!
