Here is my thing, they referred to her as “my biological mother” to me that says she doesn’t see her as her “mom”. She either isn’t a large part of her life or her isn’t her predominant mother figure. Why would you bring them on the show when she obviously didn’t want her there to start with. There is obviously a big reason she doesn’t really associate with her and didn’t want her there.

If my bio mom has been even asked to come see me, she wouldn’t. She hasn’t wanted to be around me since I was 2 which was when she gave up her rights to be my mother by just sending a small note to the court house. She didn’t even bother to show up. So me and my brothers would have run off the stage or not even shown up if we found out she’d be there. Side note: She kept my brothers but not me and my brothers don’t want anything to do with her because she did a lot of horrible things when they lived with her and my step father.

I felt bad for her. She was in a very abusive relationship right before she started her fake relationship. More or less she was in a relationship with herself so she couldn’t be hurt. I’m glad she was able to get the help she needed! Love your Dr. Phil reactions💜💜💜

I actually used to work with this girl when she came on the Dr. Phil show. When she went on the show she told all of us that she was going to propose on the Dr. Phil show and she gave us the impression that she was dating this girl. She used to also have break downs in our break room about the aprons hanging up “swaying”. I hope she ended up getting some help because I felt really bad for her. /: she wasn’t okay and it was very apparent.

This is legit heart-breaking, not only is he potentially compounding trauma by having the mother on but also being incredibly unpleasant to someone who's clearly suffering with pretty serious mental health issues. Honestly, Bailey needs serious professional help. I hope she's doing ok, wherever she is.

yeah, she is definitely having a psychotic break. Shes clearly is having auditory hallucinations. Hopefully she got actual help for this with a therapist and was put on meds bc she 100% believes all this and it seems she can actually hear these voices... A damning 2008 New York Times piece noted that McGraw is exempt from state medical ethics rules, which prevent him from, for example, revealing the identities of his patients because he's not actually a practicing doctor. Though the reality star has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from North Texas State University and was licensed in the state for 20 years, he hasn't been licensed for quite some time. He's also not licensed in California, where he lives and where the show is filmed

First of all, understand that in all likelihood, everything on this show is staged/semi-faked. Why? Well, all parties involved get money of course. People like drama. It's basically a reality show, which, are mostly fake. This has been revealed by a few guests who were on the show years ago. That's why I can laugh at it. It isn't real/it is greatly exaggerated most of the time.

The girl still lives under her mother's roof, it's just her mom, the reason she calls her her 'biological mother' is because she saw the woman she's stalking as her 'spiritual mother'. She's obviously not right in the head and she needs all the help she can get from her actual mother.

I don't know I agree with dr. Phil bringing her biological mother on, he is a doctor. He could be causing this young woman more issues by bringing her on the stage. They may have some terrible pass or anything. I think he is being very unprofessional. As for him being a doctor he should consider her feelings toward her mother and he should be able to understand that.

Doctor Phil is not a doctor. He's a talk show host. He has never gone to school, or been licensed as a doctor, nor therapist. He doesn't have a Psychology degree. He's a man with a show. McGraw graduated in 1975 from Midwestern State University with a B.A. in psychology. He went on to earn an M.A. in experimental psychology in 1976, and a Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology in 1979 at the University of North Texas, where his dissertation was titled "Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Psychological Intervention". a simple google

He’s doing a technique that’s popular in therapy, Confronting therapy or something like that. It’s really helpful with victims of rape, molestation, abuse, any violence that happened from one specific person. It has great therapeutic results for the victim, where they come face to face, in a safe environment (with safety precautions obviously, with other people) and it gives the victim a sense of control and opportunity to ask questions and work forwards peace of mind.

I think if he’s nice it’s because he’s got some hidden agenda behind that. Like when he asks people questions and is nice and gets them to open up, he typically uses that against them later in the show. It’s not like he’s addressing the problems or just making them face their problems, like their reaction is only worth “our” reaction. He doesn’t seem to really care about helping anyone.

Dr. Phil had been horrible and not very professional during this episode. That girl had suffered tremendous abuse during her childhood and had psychological problems. He was really disappointing

what are you talking about? that person needed a wake up call. Having psychological problems doesnt mean they get special treatment. Some of the cures to alot of those problems is getting a hard slap of reality and hard truth slap. Millions of people are abused during childhood all around the world, and VERY VERY few do things like that. It's ridiculous and its exactly what she needed.

My mom has a stalker like this. She never knew him and they went to the same high school together. He's been sending crazy letters and emails for decades and there's nothing we can do about it because he lives in a state where they have loose stalking laws.

Love this duo! I don’t think that Dr.Phill should force two people to come into contact with each other if one of the parties involved is unwilling. Sure have whoever you want on your show, but don’t force that person to do a segment with the person they don’t want to.

What I guess no one is picking up on is that she isn't just reiterating a feeling; this is another attempt to reach Jasmines mind. She is saying that because she still believes she can reach Jasmines mind and when she says it she's hoping to hint it at her. It's like when you're a little kid and you go "hey you if you can hear me, sneeze," in your mind to see if anyone can actually hear you lol but like I mean, that's what it sounds like. I actually find this sickening that he was that disrespectful. This girl obviously has some state of mind and has told producers she doesnt want her mother there and they still put her on? Sorry But if you apply for a show, they are accepting them and wanting them to be featured. If you want them to respect you then maybe respect those wishes of hers. Not make her look like a mug infront of an audience and humiliate her on tv because she had in her mind that they werent going to let her be there. Whether she was told that or not.
