Soup by definition is a liquid dish made by boiling meat, fish, or vegetables, etc in a stock or water. Cereal on the other hand is a grain used for food such as wheat, oats, or corn They are two completely different things

All the comments are under the assumption that the only way to eat cereal is with milk. You need to get on my level! Bowl of plain cereal and a glass of water, take an individual piece of cereal and (minimum) two dips into the glass of water, then consume.
