Deep congratulations from the bottom of my heart, for winning Gold at the olympics. I was rooting for you the past months and i knew you had all the potential to reward yourself for your hard work. Much love!
I could only ever spend that long climbing if I'm with friends and spend as much time talking and watching others as I do actually climbing lol. I'm usually only climbing like 2 hours at once because my hands just get absolutely raw if I go to much past that.
I absolutely love how when you show your attempts you show us the different betas you tried, it makes for so much inspiration both as a climber and as a setter ! Keep them coming, to me you're the reference when it comes to hard indoor bouldering videos, just plain and natural I love it
It's crazy how easy Toby make all the 'regular' boulder problems look there. Stefano Ghisolfi recently did a video in Kletterzentrum and stated that he never even climed a 9-boulder there. Mind you, he has lived in Innsbruck for the past half a year or so. Gives you an idea how strong Toby really is.
Weird having random people in your family know who Toby is now. Olympic gold medalist. Hope the channel sky-rockets now. Great boost for British climbing.
Had the pleasure of attending the Boulder & Lead World Cups mentioned here as a spectator. You were looking super strong and precise, an absolute joy to watch! I'm sure you'll crush at the Olympics!
'I appear to have lost my brush'. Could it be more relatable? What a video. Really cool format, even if it kinda merged into an slab saga instead. The level 9s looked insanely hard and also insanely fun. That feeling where even though a previous day's endurance training knocked you out but you still have a great bouldering sess is just the best. Please keep making content like this, it's inspiring and really fun to watch. Good luck in Innsbruck!
Congratulations on your well-deserved win Toby!!! Truly inspirational climber, I've been inspired to make more time for climbing despite going into Y13. Would you be able to do an event at Blue Spider to let fans meet you? If you could that would just be amazing!
TOBY! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR OLYMPIC WIN! Jesus christ, I watched the finals at work and I screamed when you won to the complete confusion of my customers. Great job, good sir! 🫡
Love your videos as always, and sick climbing!! Would love to see more vids of you analyzing the comps & giving insight into some of the boulders there. You’re absolutely crushing it 🎉
Very interesting images from how Toby"s arms and legs do have to work in special combination to get ever higher up. The never boring spectacle of solving that many problems at hand and within reach actually , make this sport meanwhile much more interesting than many other sports to be watched on our screens.
Those were some tricky slabs😳 Seeing this video has inspired me to have a full dedicated slab session tomorrow 🙌 The red boulder with the "palm down" move was my favourite 🔥
The lesson about power versus technique (or more precisely what combination of which is required when) is so important, great to see you process things in real time and thanks for sharing the awesome session!
i go right to your videos once you post them!! love to hear your comments and thoughts as well! great climbing, great music, great cutting! keep it going!!
Great video. Gym and boulders looked sick, especially the slabs. Enjoyed watching you trying to top them all, as persistent as ever :) Congrats on your recent results in Innsbruck ;)
was gonna comment how the slabs seem to rival the ones showcased in your bpump video but then you mentioned they were set by Tsukuru so it all made sense! :D thanks for showing how you work different solutions, mega sick!
Great video. I just love watching strong climbers do hard gym sets, especially on moves that are not just coordination. There's so much nuance to take away your movement on crimps or bad slopers even outside of comp style boulders.
You are going to be a f*ing inspiration to generations mate, both previous and future. Smooth, flowy, and powerful when necessary. Great climbing mind set as well. Note to myself: Plan a visit to Innsbruck for the climbing gym, and spend at least 1 day on the slab wall!
Toby would you be kind to maybe make a video about your rotine to maintain fingerhealth? I've always wondered how top level athletes maintain they self with, almost, no injuries! Great videos btw and congrats on gold!
