I just lost a few friend's even one of 23 years who decided to lie about me and bash and bully me on social media to where I didn't even want to live but I am here still and realize that I am better than that and I WILL RISE ABOVE!! No one can keep me down for long I was born for this struggle and made to RISE!!

I was terrified every time I stepped out the door. I'd duck behind something when I was outside smoking, if a car or truck came down the street, because I was afraid he'd do a drive by. I couldn't sleep without waking up screaming in terror. I was ready to give up. Six months after I left him, he died suddenly at work. He drank himself to death finally. If you are in an abusive relationship, get out now, before the person kills you. I literally had nine lives with him. I thought he would change, because when he wasn't drunk he treated me like a queen and I excused him. It was his guilty conscience. He never loved me. I'm older now and I can see it for what it was. Please leave before it's too late. They don't change.

I just left this guy I was engaged to 4 weeks ago. He mentally and physically abused me and wouldn't let me visit my family or friends and held me hostage in his camper when I tried to leave him. He was a meth addict and alchoholic and shot himself in the mouth and lived. I stuck by him and would change his bandages and get him anything he wanted or needed and would do all the cooking and cleaning as well as care for our pets eventhough I always did that stuff anyway. We were pregnant with my first child and lost the baby. I blame myself for staying with him. Hes out of my life now and eventhough I still love him I could never go back to such misery.
