After the whole Matt Lauer mess, Savannah was the guiding force that brought Today back to life. She is a gifted interviewer (check her out grilling Trump at the town hall last year) with the right balance of hard news gravitas mixed with self depreciating humor that is perfect for morning television!

Awe! She is so sweet, unless you're a politician or media star she doesn't care for then she's a piranha, leaving nothing but bone! She had a rough start with the firing of Ann; then loosing Matt. I think the Matt thing devastated her - she has just a pure demeanor - purness of heart. It did not surprise me at all that Al was her first friend. Gotta love him too. She & Hoda - such a great pairing!

I absolutely love Savanna Guthrie’s interview style. She knows when to go hard and when to soften things up. She knows just the right questions to ask to clarify a subject. I worried when she was scheduled to interview former president Trump, but she came out smelling like a rose. She didn’t allow him to interrupt or shake her focus. He tried to distract her by calling her cute, but she just kept at him and made him look like the chauvinist that he is. You go girl!

savannah Guthrie is a terrible news journalist.. i remember when al roker called out for her having 'all by myself' as the song she had on her phone one newscast.. she is an insecure journalist who took a step up because of Matt lauers demise.. she has not proven herself and would have been more credible if she had given credit to the people she was working with before her faux rise instead of throwing shade on them when the opportunity presented itself.. shame on you and very little you report on has any credibility..
