This is so awesome to see some rare footage of Savatage!!!!! Love the band from beginning ever since I seen them here in Detroit 1985. Criss was one hell of a guitar player and Jon vocals roar like a lion. Thanks for the upload.

First time hearing this. I listened to them soooo much from like 88-94. Would have loved to have seen this sooner. I love that the band's "dna" lives on in TSO, but how cool would it be to live in a world in which Savatage had reached that level of recognition instead...

This is amazing. So cool to see this old footage of all the band - but especially, Criss who is no longer with us. Hearing his raw guitar - is amazing. The fans (even though they almost brought the tent down - cool to see them so into Savatage - though most look sloshed out of their minds) :D

Now Jannus Live( or hardly alive) I saw Savatage in Tampa Rock it Club, then Oliva’s Pain in Clearwater State Theater. Both venues are long time gone.🥲
