I wouldn't call it plagerism, but I definitely accidentally coppied the concept of "humans connected to animals with magic abilities." Ever since the guy showed up and he had a cat familiar I was not only obsessed with what the cat turned into but what other witches and warlocks pets would turn into. And now that the cat turns into a book I think this universe just got a whole lot bigger, so much room for creativity and I love that.

Everyone is talking about the animation, which is breathtaking don’t get me wrong, but can we also acknowledge all the stuff we just learned about these characters? From the flashes in the beginning we can tell that magic is normal in their world, but both characters are still outcast for their own reasons. Not sure about cat man, but the bunny witch’s odd hat clearly earns her the mockery of her peers. Anyways, this disapproval from those around them weighs on both, but despite this the two of them find the strength to carry on using their magic. It also probably explains why the two came together in the first place, because they were both cast aside by the people around them.
