With one day in Capri, you have just enough time to hit the highlights… take a boat tour around the island, visit the Blue Grotto, ride the chairlift to Monte Solaro, and explore the town of Capri.To take a quick peek at the Piazzetta and Anacapri, you'll need at least 4 hours; plan on at least 7 hours if you'd also like to take a boat tour around the island.
Capri's most famous attraction, the Blue Grotto (the Grotta Azzurra), is visited by three thousands visitors every day and it is easy to see the reason: no trip to the Island of Capri is complete without seeing the Blue Grotto.

You will find the ferry kiosks by the side of the cruise port. The departure times are posted above and in the window (save extra time and reserve on line - then go to the last window to collect your tickets) Make sure you book your ticket for the return journey and allow enough time (it takes anything from 50 - 60 mins to cross). in 2022 it was about 22 euros and in 2023 its 26 euros per person each way. So easily half the price the cruise lines will charge you to go on the same boats.
