The video was great...thank you! I am trying to make carbonated soda in a keg. How do I flavor the force carbonated keg? I've tried Torani & Monin syrups...but it just doesn't taste right. Is there a "special carbonation flavoring"?? Thanks in advance!
Hi Danny, We rebuild a regular keg and add the parts to make it carbonate. We make a 2.5, 3, 5 and 10 gallon model. Call our office to order. 973-512-2028
Hello, I have this very setup from Kegman. After I carbonate the tank at 85psi and let the water carbonate overnight, do you leave the co2 tank set to 85psi? Thanks
HI Gabe, what some stores do is put some ice in the tank while filling with water. By the time the tank is filled the ice has melted and cooled down the fill quite a lot. Be careful not to hit the stone. Great question
Very nice setup. Question : If the carbonated water is at room temperature and we want to fill a 2 liter soda bottle, even if the water is at a pressure of 85psi... what will be the gas lost ? What will be the resulting sparkling water quality ? Is the water will make a "water-foam" during the transfer ? This is the point that stop me to buy such a system.
How much does the soda/seltzer stay carbonated after dispensing? I have a setup very similar to this and use cola inside it with a picnic valve for the dispensing. I run into a problem that all i get is foam when dispensing. How does this dispenser not create the foam, or is that just for seltzer that it works on? I want to use this for the wife that loves really carbonated soda, want to dispense only what she would drink before going flat. Thank you!
I have a kombucha microbrewery, I am thinking of getting Corny Keg to make kombucha constantly fizzy. And I found this, It looks wonderful for kombucha. Is it better than corny keg, do we need to chill the keg, how long do we need to wait?
Vinh, Yes with the motorless tank has the carbonating stone built in so you do not need to shake or agitate the tank. It always is better carbonation when the beverage is cold. It will continue to carbonate as you chill and keep applying pressure from the regulator
What is best bottle/cap to hold carbonation water for 2-3 weeks? I would like glass bottle, since it more organic than plastic. All the ones I have leak in 2-3 days.
Hey Rohit - I have been having same issue with my carbonated water done at home filled in glass bottle - have you come across any solution to keep water carbonated for longer time stored in glass bottles?
@@WalterTonetto You did not understood the questions or your mean 200 LITERS ... not 200 MILLILITERS. Sodastream claim 60 liters / 425gm cartridge but my "machine" only produce 30-35. So a 5 lb tank have 2300 gm of CO2 and this should produce (at 30 liter/425mg) 5.4 x 30 = 162 liters.... OK close to 200... CQFD
Mine did not take 10 secs. Is this false advertising or am I doing something wrong? I'm using cold water and a motorless 2.5 gallon carbonator and it was flat even after letting it run at 85 PSI for two minutes. And yes the valve was connected to the in of the keg not the out.
They are really quick. The colder the water you put in the faster. Nearly instant. it will get better overnight. many of our clients can pour right away if they fill with cold water
I have a small apartment and I can't keep the tank on ice at all times. I haven't had a great cup of seltzer yet. Do you think it's just because I can't get the seltzer to be very cold?
Make sure the water is not filtered and the regulator is set at 80 psi. We have clients that put ice cubes in the tank as they fill it. That chills down the water even more before applying gas
I am from Germany, l want to buy 10 liter of this 3 pieces and send it to Ethiopia Addis Ababa, will it be possibly for you ? if so how much is it and shipping cost and also how much water can it carbonate within a day ?
Hi Robert, We can't ship full tanks via air. Not sure if it a safety issue or just another regulation. Most likely you can find a supplier wherever you're going.
Hot beverages will not carbonate as well as cold. You can carbonate sugary beverage mixes but we recommend cold. Tell us what happens when you try. I am interested in what happens
