Released in 1973, Save The Children is a film written by Matt Robinson (the 1st actor to play Gordon Robinson on Sesame Street) which was filmed in Chicago in 1972. Many black artists including Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Sammy Davis Jr., The Jackson 5, and many others (mainly from Motown) came together to do their own "Concert For Bangladesh" which starred George Harrison and his friends, and was filmed and released the year before.
