My Hope is for the FULL (as close as they can) up-scaled properly to 1080p with the new remastered Audio. Realistically I think thats the most we can expect. The BBC hold the Masters on D2 Tapes , which is a little above 480p , up-scaling to 4k from 480p Video tape , wont be spectacular , even with todays modern software. All we can do is hope...
@Dave , yes , it was all recorded 4:3 on D2 video Tape , so converting to 16:9 will never look right. The best we can realistically hope for is a really good 4:3 Ai 1080p Upscale from the BBCs D2 Video Tapes + The New Remastered audio to a streaming service. I cant even see them doing physical Blu Ray DISKS THESE DAYS, AS THEY WONT THINK THERE IS A BIG ENOUGH MARKET.
Ooh. . . . What could it be? Surely it can’t be a 4K remaster of the Band Aid video “Do They know It’s Christmas?” as I would have expected that before Christmas Day, not after. 🤔
There have been a ton of backstage interviews released on the Live Aid channel in the past year or so....footage I have never seen before (and I'm a Live Aid freak). So you might be right.
One of three things they could announce. Either the full concert in 4K and unedited. (Only on RU-vid for a week) Or next Christmas, the 2020s version of Do they know it’s Christmas time being brought forward a year early to support those affected in Ukraine. Or the return of Live aid.
Hopefully it will involve the reuploaad of bryan adams set at live aid which I am guessing was a rights issue as the existing clips disappeared off the official channel.Thisvwas annoying to me as an autistic adult to not be able to watch on RU-vid the complete live aid show.Hopefully the bryan adams set could include tears are not enough which has been previously available in a version using different audio sources. I am able to dream.
@@greypossum1 It's not so much remixing; if I remember correctly, Led Zep's performance was HORRENDOUS, that's why their set on Live Aid only exists on bootlegs.
@@andriealinsangao613 Check here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TudbbVdz8os.html The full set. The real issue was the second drummer. he saw it as a chance to take John Bonham's place and he thought this was an audition. He was dreadful. The fact that the group hadn't rehearsed was a bit of an issue as well.
