That one little fella who managed to drag the whole crew off the branch was hilarious! They weren't too happy with him, but I was laughing myself silly!🤣🤣🤣 Then one of the grownups had to come investigate, hee hee! The little boy at the beginning and end was soooooo cute! He gave the camera a smooch before he decided he wanted to be the cameraman. With the exception of his very long fingernails, he could probably do it. Please, please save the koala, won't you? They are on a trajectory to become extinct in 30 years. THIRTY years! Most of us will still be here. I will be. I don't want to see such a horrible thing come to passing my lifetime. These are gentle, inoffensive animals that take the most toxic tree on earth and make it their food. Koalas are necessary to the environment. Please, PLEASE don't let them be wiped out. I may be American, but I am doing everything I can to help. Those of us who advocate for koalas have given up on ever getting help from a greedy, apathetic Australian government (yes, I am accusing you of being greedy and uncaring Australian government! Look how many we lost in the wildfires of 19/20, all of which could have been avoided if you'd let your fire brigades do their annual controlled backburns instead of kowtowing to radical fringe groups like your Idioit "Green" Party) and we are doing this ourselves. But we still need your help. Please consider donating your time, talent and whatever small amount of money you might be able to donate. Even a dollar helps. Not to make this political, but since you brought it up, what is the problem with the Australian Green Party? They seem to be very much in favor of saving the koalas. What did they do to prevent those efforts?

@@1111amyg the Green Party is really interested in one thing, and one thing only: power. They claim to care about the environment and so on, but the actuality is, they don't care about that at all. I've done my homework on these "people" (and I use that term loosely) because we have the same ones here in the US. They wail and moan that firefighters can't possibly go into the bush (or in our case here in America, the forest), because they might upset the balance of some insect or something. Never mind the fact that it is very beneficial to the forest/bush ecosystem for the firefighters to get in there and do a controlled backburn. The purpose of the backburn is to get rid of the previous year's rubbish. The backburn will hollow out old logs an create new homes for bush dwelling animals. It will stimulate new and fresh growth for animals to feed upon. Best of all, it will prevent the horrific wildfires we saw tearing down the East coast of Australia for the 19/20 season. Those fires were started by arson. Do you know who the arsonists were? The Green Party. Google it. They didn't care that they were killing millions of native animals. Their ultimate goal is power. They want to wipe all of humanity off the earth except for themselves. Then, who will help the animals when they need help, and there's barely a human left on earth? This is The Green Party. Their name is deceptive. They are extremists who don't want to help anyone but themselves, and should be avoided at all costs. I'm not trying to be political. I just did my due diligence, and understand them for who they truly are. Their ultimate goal is power. They shouldn't have it!

When can we have them as pets? People have all kinds of strange animals as pets like tarantulas, pythons, parrots even some have servals and bigger cats. Why can't we physically adopt a 🐨 koala so we can keep it in our home safe and sound away from fires and cars ? I am sure many people will love the idea. The reason I am saying as I watched so many koala 🐨 videos and I can tell they enjoy being cuddled especially hand reared ones! So this would be a win-win situation ! Imagine snoozing and hugging a koala like a dog or a cat 🥰
I’d love too but I don’t want them to be sold, bought and so on. I want them to be free, cared in their native place Some Australians take care of them and they are doing very well. The Australian government could probably do more. We must not only think about ourselves : look at abused dogs, cats ... Do you really want that they have a similar life ? Do you think a parrot is happy to live in a cage ? Let the koalas free but protected .
@Kingu 11 I too would love my very own koala so much, I think the main problem would be getting enough eucalypt leaves to feed them. I think Australia is where they are meant to be, except for zoos and safari parks around the world
Also they are a very specialised animal, they have kidney problems quite commonly, Luckily I live only about 40 miles from Longleat where they've had koalas for about five years as part of a special breeding programme and I hope one day to be able to see them there once my health improves

Wonderful much loved animals, when all that group were balancing on the branch I thought wouldn't it be lovely to have a great big sack full of koalas and to release them and have them all running around my house, I know this isn't possible, but it's a lovely dream

I am on a fixed income and i am American i donate a small amount to the cummbine wildlife hospital also to help plant the trees i love koalas 🐨 have never had the pleasure of holding one Australia 🇦🇺 is so lucky to have a iconic star that is so adorable beautiful has a docile spirit i hate when dogs 🐕 🚘 hurts them and humans are so greedy they keep building and taking there home away so please do your research and donate to help save them who ever reads this thank you 🙏🏾
Gayl Hopkins I am, too, but I scrape together what I can, and donate to Koala Gardens. I've now partnered with Katrina Jeffrey, and am currently designing beaded koala bookmarks. When I've made a bundle, I will be shipping them to Australia for her to sell to raise money for the Gardens to use any way she wishes.
