They could've just done a whole new story instead of bringing Sarah back. I liked how things ended for Sarah and Derrick. This story could've been about a girl named Rachel Brooks who got into the dance academy and ended up with the Miles guy instead of splitting Sarah and Derrick apart; in my opinion, that is what makes the movie nit as good as the first cause they split those two up.
well in my opinion i believe it works this way for the simple fact that in most cases, an interracial couple is questioned/or frowned upon...plus they always use white guys lol like Step Up 1,2& 3...but idc either way(:
I think you missed the whole point of Save the Last Dance. It's about two cultures coming together, getting to see whats on the inside. It wouldn't have made much since to make it with a white guy, how is that showing conflict and understanding between two cultures? It would have no story then, it would just be about a girl dancing who likes a guy.
IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY CERTAIN FAMILIAR ACTORS AND ACTRESSES MAKE A MOVIE GOOD...THESE TWO ARE NOT AS FAMOUS AS THE ORIGINAL BUT THE SEQUEL PROBABLY ISN'T TOO BAD. I DON'T CLEARLY SEE PURPOSE FOR A SEQUEL BUT I GUESS THEY WANTED TO BRING BACK THE IDEA OF MULTI OR TWO CULTURES JOINING TOGETHER LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER.
Evert movie these days? About 300 movies come out a year, can you name me 5 movies this year with a blonde white girl and black guy? Or even 3 movies this year?
u may be right but in this gesture or role---whatever--this guys suited much ----as we are habitual to see him--so any change will pretend us only for comparison doubt//// is't it????
no offence not trying to be racist but in both movies have you noticed that it is always and coloured guy and not a white guy im not sayin thers anything wrong with them being coloured but it would be nice that if they brought out a number 3 then maybe it could be a white guy instead this time
