You can clearly see of how skinny and exhausted it was after being released to the sea. Poor baby. What a shame these 2 weren't spotted on time - the other baby could have been saved too. What a sad way to go.
Should have called a vet to sedate him and take him home for few days. He needed to recover and rehydrate. You can see at the end he was so skinny and weak...
@@Felatelist There are plenty of wildlife rehabilitation program and rescue centers. By your stupid pathetic logic, they should maybe have left him in the netting as apparently nature has decided his fate. Releasing a starved and on the brink of death animal back into the wild is not going to save him. He can't hunt, he needs fresh water, and rest. So yeah, if I was there and nobody else to do it, absofuckinglutely, I'd take responsibility and nourish him back to health and release him in a few days. Comprende, wiseass?
@PersonaX You could literally put it in a backyard somewhere, run a water hose to a bucket, buy some fish from the store, feed it for 2 days and it would have a 90% better chance of surviving. It wasn't horrifically injured or need surgery. Literally anything would work in its favor based on how it struggled just to get to the water.
@@JamesBond-be4cw This was South Africa. I know Namibia doesn't have any rescue centers for seals and I doubt South Africa has them either. And that seal may look cute to you, but it's still a dangerous wild animal. You can't just put him on a leash and bring him home like a puppy.
God Bless You All For Trying To Help Him!!... But in the Future should Anyone Else see a Seal or Any Animal that is as weak as this little guy... Please call the Nearest Marine or Animal Rescue Center to come retrieve the Animal to Nurse it back to Health... As in his Extremely Weakened state... It was too weak and Malnourished to try and catch his Food... So, He most likely didn't Survive!!😓😢😞
The pr baby was so skinny and weak broke my heart set it try with all its might to get to the water!!!! I hope all your help was in time I don't even want to think about it.
it is a shame to see how many seals, turtles and whales have to be freed from nets etc. rarely do we ever see the ones that don't make it and I am sure there are lots of them, propably more than the rescued ones. Thanks to the lady that had the guts to put the towle over the seal while the men just stood there.
Ocean Conservation Namibia has videos on youtube and does this everyday. I have never seen one limp off with zero strength like that. Usually they are zooming into the ocean!
I can’t understand the negative reviews, I don’t see orcas swimming around the sea lion when it was released after the netting was cut away and escaped out to sea.
It's all about money, it's causing a lot of animal extinct , and one day this earth is because human selfishness and greed are destroyed and disappeared by human beings 😢😢😠😠
