Hi Katheryn, will I have access to the special videos after the 30 days is over to review and watch in the future? I enjoy all your videos, especially the cleaning, organizing, and seasonal decorating! I watch them over and over again as I work around my home. You are my favorite!!❤
I enjoy watching you every single time. You just have such simple ways to do things and a restore things and Goodwill shop I just love it all all all! 🦋
I wanted to tell you way back this year but you showed up from the Dollar tree a cutting board that had a handle and how you could make your bed with it has been a game changer my husband uses it and loves it 💓
Hello this sounds amazing and I would love to do this challenge!! Do I have access to the information or videos if I miss a day? I definitely need this!! Lmk thanks!
I never donate to Goodwill. Instead I donate everything to a local thrift store that helps the needy. Katherine, I have followed you for years and adore your channel. You are creative, hard working and an absolute doll!
Donate to places that pass items on to those who can’t afford thrift stores. Women’s shelters. Some churches and some items are accepted by the Veterans Administration to help when starting a new home for homeless veterans.
I do that as well. I know so many women shelters that need clothing and that's where I make sure that anything I donate that has to do with clothing items go to a women's shelter to help those women get back on their feet ❤❤❤
Goodwill here also buys clearance items that don’t sell from Target, but sell them more then Target had them on clearance for - just an fyi. Know your prices helps.
I found our dining room table and chairs at Habitat ReStore for $229, and they are currently selling for nearly $8,500. That will forever be my best thrift ever, I bet!
I LOVE these thrifting videos and the way your style is going!!! Perhaps a video centred around cleaning products for these thrifted items? Like how to properly sanitize silver, wicker, and fabric materials
Absolutely! We definitely need to know how to clean these items because they have been in other people's houses and since they are used items they definitely should be cleaned before we bring them into our houses. It would be nice if she did a video on that❤❤❤
You are enough, you are truly amazing. I work so much now, I have to schedule 1hour per off day for my arts and crafts, then 30 minutes per room per project per off day. This includes declutter, Organizing and cleaning.
I love this video so much. I wish you would do more. I'm so tired of the Dollar Tree or the $10 tree or whatever it's called now. But what a steal on the cabinet girl. You nailed it
I’ve been watching you for years since I needed a what to pack in my hospital bag when having a baby. I feel like I’ve gone along with you on this journey of RU-vid. I will never forget when you started adding you are enough to the end of your videos 💔🙏🏼 but I am so glad that you do. You’re so positive and uplifting. You make people feel like they matter. ❤ thanks for being you!
I never keep toothbrushes in the open (toilet germs in the air!). When I bought a whole bathroom set (curtain and rings, wastebasket, soap dispenser, towels, and toothbrush holder), I also used it for flowers instead.
Do you flush with the toilet seat up? I was always confused when ever people said this, then I found out people flush the toilet with the seat up. I come from a family were we close the toilet then flush. I'm just curious.
No, Sadly, the goodwills here are getting more pricy, sometimes priced greater than going to local retail prices. Most of the time not so much of a Good Deal. They do not seem to be hiring the handicap anymore…which WAS their original Purpose⁉️
I lived in Santa Barbara for a long time and Dallas and Houston and I used to Thrift all the time. So many awesome bargains . I almost totally furnished my whole new townhouse I had with thrift store items and you would never have known. I lucked out really well at Foley's years ago for a living room set. It was exactly what I saw in my mind and I turned the corner and there it was on sale. It was a deep plum color sofa and love seat and avocado green big chair. Then I just surrounded all that with a big glass table and lots of thrift store stuff.I collected a beautiful group of brass candlesticks and beautiful little crystal balls and bowls with potpourri had them on the dining room Bureau from a thrift. Even the dining room table and chairs were thrifted. I would go every weekend and give myself $20 to buy a treasure. That was a number of years ago and I still have many of the treasures. Not only is it a game but it is as exciting when you find something. Thank you for sharing your videos. I watch all of them. You have so many helpful ideas. Keep up the good work.
You find the best things. I moved from a 1600 sq ft house to a 1100 sq ft house and now I have to keep some things in a storage building. I just need to sell things but I can’t get started. Thank you for giving me inspiration. Love your videos.
Wow, I have been a subscriber for many years. Almost from the beginning. You have grown so much. You are still so sincere and inspirational. Just Wow. ❤
Love the google lens. I had two booths in an antique mall. I love thrifting. My house is not uncluttered. It’s filled with beautiful things I love. Collecting and styling my love of vintage makes me happy. I do however, have a clean house. Everything has a place and everything in its place. Like my Grandma taught me. That said, it’s important to me that my house feels like home. And I love your channel for inspiration for all you share. Hope you have a blessed week! 🤍
You would be amazed at how many products I’ve purchased from your videos. Also, I have serious health issues that make me very sensitive to chemicals. That is another reason to buy antique or “used,” as the off-gassing has already happened (there are so many plastics in newer products these days!) Thank you for all these amazing ideas!!!!❤❤❤
I am all about thrifting and have so much fun finding things I love that just also happen to be worth a nice amount. I find that at both the Thrift store as well as FB marketplace. Good Will is like a roler coaster in the Triad of NC. Depending on the manager is how how good it bad prices are. There are some I walk away from so much because I feel it's overpriced and the others I'm having to put stuff back to stay within my budget cuz there's just so much great stuff at great prices! Love the video! Blessings!
This is really and truly a great video 🤍 I love resale and thrifting, and it’s so wonderful to see you in this direction! It’s fantastic!! I can’t say enough…thank you 🤍
A friend of mine always shops at thrift stores and Goodwill and she finds the coolest clothes and things she bought to furnish her house with. She says she never pays full price for anything. She saves money too. I have to thrift shop because my income is low. I found some items I wanted at Goodwill, but couldn't get at the time, but I'm going back soon to check out more items. I love how you thrift shop. Gave me some great ideas. Thanks Kathryn ❤
Love how you decorated the french style dresser. It's beautiful! And that lovely bust was found at a thrift store? That's gorgeous! You just gotta keep your eyes open while thrifting you never know what treasures you might find.😊
Deffinetly one of my favorite of your videos recently. Your thrifted hutch, painting and Roman bust are gorgeous. I go to some goodwill some a reasonable some are outrageous depends on the location. I shop small owned thrift stores alot. You and Charlie are the cutest couple.
I currently have the dresser from your bedroom that belongs to my husband's grandmother, and the one you just bought, my grandmother had it, but the original color, not the makeover. Although I do love the colors of the new one.
I absolutely love your videos. The furniture pieces you thrifted are gorgeous and i love how you decorated it all. The cart you put in your bedroom for tea is so cool, great idea and pretty. Ty so much 😊
Your videos bring me so much joy!! You radiant love and kindness!! You have helped me find used for items that are hugely sentimental but I just couldn't figure out what to do with them aka. the toothbrush holder!! I love wicker too and Amazon is really a rip-off when it comes to the organization bins! I'm home homebound so I have to rely on others to hopefully find treasures for me. Hope you're having a magical day!! Sending love and hugs 🤗 your way!!
Hi Katherine!! I love to thrift!! It is my happy place 😊 My Goodwill's here in TN are still pretty expensive!! Sometimes you can dig in & find some deals!! Your dresser is really pretty!! Cheers to Charlie for always being supportive & helping 🎉🎉🎉 Take care sweet girl ❤️☺️
Love your content always keeps me going always wanting to keep my home nice n organized theres always an idea 💡 n that phrase at the end always gets me ❤
I love the dresser. I am currently looking at a Fench Provencial grouping of furniture. I reminds me of my room growing up. Seeing it in your video must be asign that I need to get the set.
I love the toothbrush holder idea! Brilliant! One recommendation for thrifting, check your items carefully. Somethings can only be returned for credit and have a short return window.
I go thrifting about once a week. We have gotten furniture pieces and some interesting artwork for our home for cheap. I'm also not above trash picking. we live in a high rise condo and we check our trash area for furniture left behind by tenants moving out. We managed to get two bedside tables, a side table, a swivel top coffee table and a floor lamp for free, and when I did a Google search on what we picked up, I found out that these were from the 90s and quite expensive when new.
Kathryn your videos are always so helpful. Especially now in the days of inflation! It would be so appreciated if you would share your nail, hair and clothes routine. You look amazing.
I knew from the first second of your video that I was gonna watch it all! Lol I have French Provencial bedroom furniture too. I love it! 💝 Its beautiful! 💝
We recently moved and I miss my old thrift store. But, I have had a good time getting to know my new local stores. Love the sustainability of thrifting too!
The google camera is the ASKING PRICE ! not sold misleading! I am a reseller and so many misunderstand. The actual worth. Great info for designing your home thanks!
Exactly. People can ask high prices, but what does it really sell for. Condition of item always matters too. It is so misleading when people make videos like this.
I have a Goodwill about 2 mi from my house and I have never been into it even though I've lived in my area for 15 years. Now I'm motivated to see what they have.😮😮😮
I’ve gotten my kids so excited about thrifting.. such smart spending habits to start young! They LOVE Squishmallows (as most kiddos do) which can be very pricy. Our local goodwill has the small ones for around $1, the medium range sizes for $3, and the large and XL ones for around $7-$9 (a fraction of the cost!). I also lucked out and found the most insanely gorgeous mid-century bankers desk at a local thrift store recently. It’s solid oak, SO much storage, was in great condition, and shockingly was SEVEN BUCKS!! I thought it was a misprint, but nope… they were trying to get rid of the larger pieces so they had them all marked down. It turned out to be an authentic 50s desk and they’re reselling for thousands! It’s one of my fave thrift finds ever!
I wish you lived in WV i would LOVE to go thrifting with you. You're sense of style is so beautiful. I'm more of a modern farmhouse with a touch of primitive, but i would still love to shop with you. 💙💙
❤😄THANK YOU for the MOTIVATION to once again buy 2nd hand, thrift & SAVE!! I'm recovering from 2 sudden major Health Issues & Surgeries within 9 months this year. NOW- I'M READY TO DECLUTTER, be Creative again and LOVE❤️ what I create and thrift!! I AM ACCEPTING Your CHALLENGE!!😁👍🏻💯 I've got my strength back and looking around at my Home, which I could only do bare upkeep for almost a year, YEP I NEED This- Your Support & Help!! GOD Bless & THANK You!! 😂❤❤ 😏AWWWW!! Oh where did these HAPPY TEARS come from??!😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love Kathryn's videos. Unfortunately for me, my closest Goodwill is getting more expensive. My last trip cost around $100, which bought me a few black frames, a wooden box, & a small indoor/outdoor rug.
Kathryn ❤, The prices are amazing! I only wish in my area in NYS they price $ store items for $3-4😮. Salvation Army prices are soring as well dresses $25+?
I fell in love with a beautiful gold satin fabric lampshade…it was $61.89!!! FOR A LAMPSHADE!!!! No way does that work in my budget!! I’ll go thrifting & see if I can close to the one I want!!
Thank you Kathryn for all of the hard work you put into your videos! Thank you for making them fun and chock full of wonderful tips! I have not been to my Goodwill store in a very long time. They were getting too pricy for thrifting. They were almost department store prices. Love you so much and you are enough❤
I also saw someone put flowers in a toothbrush holder then place this in a larger planter/chunky vase which looked effective and helped to keep the flowers in place
I stopped going to the goodwill. They have priced everything as if was brand new. Practically every thing given to them. I love the furniture piece you bought. Thanks for sharing and may you have a Blessed day.
