there's so many JBL fans. The only thing I like about them is they sound louder. But for bass quality I find Sony and Marshall cleaner. I owned like JBL,Marshall, Tribit, Bose, Sony. The JBL I sold it. I just like the sound quality I get from the other speakers. I had JBL twice cos of the hype but I always end up selling them.
jbl for the masses, they're good at marketing. for me this one is close at least, the last one i watched comparing jbl clip literally sound like cheap depthless radio yet people can still complain on sony
tribit takes the cake. The sony is TOO much bass. Jbl sounds like a tiny speaker, and marshal is overall meh. Jbl muddiness is evident even with their higher end speakers. Tribit just sounds more clear
Sony XB100 has the best balance of all categories. Or call it more balanced & refined sound, Marshall is sober & JBL is louder but unrefined. XB100 could be controlled with an application which gives more versatility & utility to much extent which other two lacks. Appreciate your work 🙏
3:00 the bass from the Sony is clearly deeper and clearer. This should have been how the old XB13 sounded like tbh. I liked the Go 3's sound but this time the Sony takes the cake. If i'm not already flooded my apartment with portable speakers I'd probably gonna buy it LOL.
@@lazylions5225 im a tech writer. But no i dont have expensive speakers LoL the most expensive I have is the Marshall Stockwell II which is just mid tier and sounđed like shit for the price. Honestly I bought it for the aesthetic 🤣
Have the partybox 310 and it's pretty dang good.. I got the go 3 for my shower speaker to replace my old altec lancing h20 mini (first gen) as the battery is toast in it.
@@zaymax_7i have both tribit micro and marshall willen, tribit loudness and bass is powerfull. Willen is more clear and rich the best for sleep at low volume
The sony has a much wider frequency response and provides much better bass reproduction. You can even hear it in the 'Audio Samples' section. But hey, the JBL is louder so it must be better. 🙃
Been searching for mini Bluetooth speakers and comparison. So far this is very clear and many other reviews on the comments. Almost everyone I know used JBL, they are cheaper as well but onky add another few bucks i can also buy Sony, tribit or Anker what has better battery life.
Kind of agree with the assessment. I ended up with a pair of Sonys tho. JBL not supporting Party Boost or stereo pairing on the Clip or Go models is a serious oversight.
It's true that the Sony sound is typical of Sony big speakers because the sound doesn't change even though the place is small... different from the JBL Go 3, the sound is like a small speaker following the small place
For me the battery on GO3 lastst longer than 5 hours. I'm using it every day mostly on half volume and the battery last me at least 5-6 days. The only downside is that you can't pair another GO3 for stereo sound. Missed chance for JBL. I think that a lot of people who have GO3 would buy another one including me.
I have them all the Willen is loudness and eq settings the Go 3 is amazing the Sony is also good wish they gave them a little more power 10 watts are good for these speakers they all have bigger speakers and more cost Togo with it it’s a matter of listening preference don’t forget the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 another great contender good video thanks
the jbl and marshall speaker was frontfacing to the microphone, but the sony is facing upwards. i cannot recognice the treble from sony tho cause the direction of the speaker. if you realize, where the speaker facing to the microphone / your ear, you'll get the small different result.
Marshall Willen the best by overall performance. JBL too harsh Sony too muddy Marshall best overall. Well balance especially balance tone without the absent of bass. Does what a small speaker suppose to do; no ridiculous excursion for tiny speaker.
I dont know much about eq and sound engineering but I can easily tell listening to these from my phone I had the urge to volume down each time jbl and marshall was on stage. They are too treble and artifical while sony had perfectly balanced and didnt annoy me
Only the Sony (of these 3) can pairup in stereo if you have 2 of them, and also only the sony can do phonecalls/voice chats. And the strap is the most versatile.
@@moritzalexander1354 Very true. Just sayin' Marshall does calls as well. I had an older version of the Sony and the speaker collapsed on me. Not dropped or anything. Very happy with the Marshall and have bought this Sony for work. All good.
Got my go 3 the sound is amazing. The only downfall for me is the battery. It plays 1 hour and a half fully charged. Full volume. Butnif you play it 80 percent volume it will last long.
I think JBL and Marshall sounds better. I don't know why, in my ears the Sony sounds bad and so muffled, maybe my earphones is Harman type tuning but I don't know the method of this recording so I don't know, also Harman-tuned earphones are objectively and subjectively best so nothing wrong with my earphones.
💥The JBL is the best overall sound quality and bass alone shouldn’t be the main focus point on any of these tiny speakers. The big win for the Sony is that you can hook several together and create a nice wall of sound. Can the JBL play while being charged because if it can I’d just plug it into a battery pack for longer run time. Great comparison video. Well done. 🏆🏆
Dude, I can’t believe you don’t think think the Marshall sounds the best!? I’m listening on high quality headphones and the Marshall shits all over the other 2! Like, clearly!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I purchased the Go 3 a few days ago. . Im very pleased with the great quality sound it has. The sony to me definitely sounds inferior to the JBL, and the MARSHALL.
Jbl is cheaper it obviously sounds worse. The only thing is it's a bit louder but that makes for worse noise. Used go2 loong time but now it doesn't wanna charge so I'm switching to xb100 becuase it's bass is far superior to jbl go 3 and it's not much more expensive. You should compare flip 4 to sony because they're more price matched but still Sony is far superior in terms of bass, might be quiter but tbh I mostly listen at below half of max volume
@@KuKMatoNeu59473 I agree, that's the reason i choose sony too. It's not only about loud volume but the balance sound quality that makes your ear not irritated to listen. 😉
@@FishBeeProductions true not always, Do you actually understand @world.of.tanks-gameplay ‘s comment . He is 100% correct. BEING LOUDER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH QUALITY OF SOUND.....
None of that music sounds good to me! IMHO these comparisons are flawed and instead should feature a variety of genres and some real instruments recorded in a professional studio to get an accurate picture of how these speakers sound! Based on that music and listening through Bose headphones I wouldn’t be interested in any of these speakers! Different reference material….maybe??
