Jesus, being the author and finisher of our faith, has started the salvation process, and He will finish it, when He returns; and conforms us unto His image.

Once saved always saved a lie from the pit of hell; We know for a fact that. Sin separates us from God which is why Jesus had to be sacrificed ; once saved always saved is a lie from the pit of hell ; ~~~ John 3:8-9 Amplified Bible 8 The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because [a]God’s seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born again-who is reborn from above-spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is born again] cannot habitually [live a life characterized by] sin, because he is born of God and longs to please Him. ~~Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Hebrews 2 New King James Version Do Not Neglect Salvation 2 Therefore we must give [a]the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just [b]reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts[c] of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? The Son Made Lower than Angels 5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him? 7 You have made him [d]a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, [e]And set him over the works of Your hands. 8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made [f]a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. Romans 8:31-32 KJV King James Version 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Bringing Many Sons to Glory 10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who [g]sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying: “I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.” 13 And again: “I will put My trust in Him.” And again: “Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.” 14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not [h]give aid to angels, but He does [i]give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being [j]tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. ~~~Hebrews 12:14 King James Version 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: ~~~ Hebrews 10:26-29 King James Version 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

@@BADDMIXX this is definitely not coming at you to argue or anything just want to give my opinion . When I lived in my sin I did not grieve nor fill bad about the actions or thoughts going in my head. Definition of repent; feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin. In the original language the New Testament was wrote which is Greek. The Greek word used for repentance was Metanoia. Which means a change of mind. One has to have a change of mind first to understand nothing they do except submit to Jesus is the only way out of their sin. Once you receive the Holy Spirit is when one can truly repent. @@KingTurkey30 I agree. People fail to grasp sin is a curse that resides in our flesh. Sin can be an action or be a thought. How would you explain coveting? @@KingTurkey30 did you ever hear or read the scriptures that says that those who endure to the end will be saved
@kgar5String
@kgar5String 2 месяца назад
@@larry7781 What does it mean that he who endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13)? In Matthew 24:13 Jesus says, “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (KJV), or, as the NIV has it, “The one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” This verse is part of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, an explanation to His disciples about things to come. Jesus told the Twelve that the temple would be destroyed (Matthew 24:2), and, in response, they asked Him, “When will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (verse 3). Their question had two parts and so required two answers. Jesus combined those answers into one long discourse about what was ahead before He returned. Some of those prophecies were fulfilled with the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. The remainder has yet to happen. This specific verse is best understood when read in context. Matthew 24:9-14 says, “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” From God’s viewpoint outside our timeframe, the “end times” began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2:16-21, Peter describes this event as “the last days.” From that perspective, it makes sense that Jesus combined events in AD 70 with those yet to come. They are all “the last days.” He then warns that, as persecution increases, many who considered themselves His followers will reveal their true spiritual condition when they turn away from the faith. This had already happened during His ministry (John 6:66) and would escalate until the end. True Christian faith would be tested by deception, false prophets, and the increase of wickedness. Not only will there be some who turn away, but Jesus foretold that “the love of most will grow cold.” The implication is that those who “stand firm to the end” will be the minority (see Matthew 7:14). Those who endure to the end are the opposite of those in the previous verse whose love grows cold. Jesus’ statement that he who endures to the end will be saved cannot be taken to mean that our salvation is somehow dependent on our personal ability to remain saved. Rather, it is a promise of perseverance. Those who have the grace to endure to the end are the ones who are genuinely saved by grace. The various trials Jesus mentions will reveal our true colors. “Most will grow cold” and fall away from Christ, showing that they are professors only and not truly born again (Matthew 24:12). But those who endure and stand firm in the faith, despite incitements to do otherwise, are showing that they are genuine children of God “who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:5, ESV, emphasis added). We can dissect this passage even further to glean relevant truths. Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm through persecution. Matthew 24:9 warns that Jesus’ followers would be “handed over to be persecuted and put to death.” From the time of the apostles until the present day, millions of Christians have been persecuted and put to death. We are seeing an escalation of that in more recent days with global terrorism, but martyrdom has always been common in most areas of the world. Verse 9 goes on to state that Christians will “be hated by all nations because of me.” As Islam and atheism increase in nations that once held to Judeo-Christian values, we are seeing a greater fulfillment of this prophecy. Hatred can be expressed in many ways, one of which is the radical secularization of culture and governments that once honored time-tested morality and faith. When a culture actively strips from its history and public life any vestiges of God’s involvement in its success, that nation is displaying hatred toward Jesus. Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm through ridicule and hatred. Matthew 24:10 says that when many turn away from the faith, they will “betray and hate each other.” With the proliferation of internet websites, blogs, and Facebook pages, we are seeing the polarization of opinions leading to angry diatribes and un-Christlike dialogue. Everyone has an opinion about everything, and opinion, it seems, has become a god worth defending through anger. Even among professing “Christians,” the comments and editorializing have taken a decidedly downward turn. Issues not worth dividing over have become hot-button topics that alienate brothers and sisters and, sadly, the unbelieving world. Issues that are worth dividing over have been swept under the rug in the name of “tolerance.” Anyone who does not bow to the god of tolerance becomes an object of ridicule and self-righteous hatred. Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm through false teaching. Matthew 24:11 goes on to warn of “many false prophets” appearing and deceiving the masses. We tend to imagine a “false prophet” as a flamboyant type, easily spotted and easily rejected. However, if this were true, then many would not be deceived by them. Instead, the false prophets are men and women with outward displays of Christianity, charismatic charm, and a way with words. They weave their heresies with Scripture, just as Satan does (see Luke 4:1-10), so that those who do not know God’s Word thoroughly are taken in by their great-sounding teachings (2 Timothy 4:3-4). We are already seeing this take place with the explosion in recent years of hyper-grace teaching and the prosperity gospel. Millions are being deceived, with Bibles in their laps, because the words of the false prophets are ego-soothing, exciting, and more desirable than Scripture’s focus upon self-sacrifice and surrender. Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm even in the midst of a rampantly sinful culture. Matthew 24:12 says that “because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” This is a cause-and-effect statement that we are seeing played out before our eyes. As culture redefines reality according to its lusts and depravity, those clinging to scriptural definitions of sin are being quickly outnumbered. As wickedness becomes more popular and socially acceptable, people without a solid biblical worldview are being swept up by its grandiose promises. They are “rethinking” and “reevaluating” the Bible’s relevance in our modern world. The definitions of gender, sexuality, and morality are being challenged, even within some segments of the church, causing those unschooled in truth to collapse beneath the weight of these “new insights.” It is no wonder that the flicker of love that may have been ignited by the Holy Spirit is squelched in favor of a new love and a new god created in the image of the culture. When Jesus says, “The one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13, ESV), He is speaking of those who are truly born again, whose lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. True followers of Jesus Christ will withstand the onslaught of wickedness, recognize and reject false teaching, and cling fast to the truth of God’s Word. They will overcome this world and be granted reward in the world to come (Revelation 3:21). Those who have been sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:22) have His power working in them to enable them to stand firm (Romans 14:4; Jude 1:24-25).

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Remember the parable of the sower, 3 of the grounds believed but only one of the grounds was good and continued to believe, the other 2 tasted of the good word of God but they were not born again as Jesus told Nicodemus, how do I know? In the parable Jesus described to his disciples that the ground is the heart. When talking to Nicodemus about seeing the kingdom, Jesus said you had to be born of water and spirit, Jesus was referencing Ezekiel 36:25-27. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Notice who is talking, God, notice what is required, nothing, notice who is doing, God, notice the results - cleansed, old heart (ground) removed, new heart(ground) put in, God's spirit put inside you CAUSING you to walk in his ways. Yes this is to Israel his sheep but Jesus included us when he said other sheep I have that are not of this fold them I must bring also and they will be one flock. If you can lose your salvation you are not born from above.

@kgar5String 3 месяца назад
The problem with this statement is that relationship implies give and take on both party's participate to make it work and the scripture does not say anything about a relationship other than the Shepard, Sheep relationship. Relationship implies works but the scripture says salvation is by grace which means we have nothing to do with it. Yes we have faith but that is given to us by Grace by way of a new heart, open eyes, open ears and his spirit put in us. When Jesus was talking to Nicodemus about being born again he was referring to Ezekiel 36:25-27 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. What we notice is that God is the one talking and doing and he did not present requirements, the results were a new heart, cleansing, his spirit put in us and that spirit causing us to walk in his ways. This scripture and 90% of the bible is to Israel but Jesus included us when he said other sheep I have that are not of this fold them I must bring in also and they shall be on fold consequently the point is not moot.

All that being said, the scripture says we are saved by Grace through faith, being saved by Grace means you don't have anything to do with it, and even the faith you have was graced to you by God by opening eyes, ears and conditioning the heart. Jesus told Peter flesh and blood does not reveal who the son of man is, if you are not saved by Grace you are not saved. Can you exegete like this with Hebrews 6:4? What does it mean to grieve the Holy Spirit & is that different than blaspheming Him? I’ve tried to learn the Greek, and I’m confused. I see a lot of “if’s” and it also says He passed over Former sins. So, if we messed up big, or self deceived ourselves it sounds like it’s saying that you can’t be forgiven. I’d really love an in depth study on the verses like that and why it says in Revelation that these people in the church are being told to repent if what it’s saying in Hebrews means what it sounds like it means. Either repent early or else if you don’t wake up right away then there’s no chance? Plus someone said if you find yourself being the rocky or thorny ground you can’t ever get it right that those people are doomed even if they finally wake up and realize they’ve messed up too much.makes Proverbs 14 (?) a righteous man falls 7 times and gets back up… a bit confusing too.

Under the "Grace" gospel, you cannot blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Under the Kingdom gospel, you could. We are saved by grace Ephesians 2:8-9.

@@ddkaye7258 Eternally saved by grace that you can’t lose? The Son, Father, & Spirit are one(Matt 28:19 & Gen 11:7). No evidence and continued evidence of the Holy Spirit like this ministry? Time to examine yourself in the faith (2 Cor 13:5), what you believe to be the true understanding of the gospel and any vain traditions of man that you may follow. Hebrews 12:15-17 Take heed, that no man fall away from the grace of God: let no root of bitterness spring up and trouble you, lest thereby many be defiled. Let there be no fornicator, or profane person as Esau, which for one portion of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward also when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place to repentance, though he sought that blessing with tears. Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in, which were before of old ordained to this condemnation: ungodly men they are, which turn the GRACE of our God into wantonness, and deny God the only Lord, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom also ye have trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, even the Gospel of your salvation, wherein also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Acts 2:38 Peter answered them, “All of you must turn to God and change the way you think and act, and each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins will be forgiven. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.

In the old testament Saul lost the Holy Spirit which means he lost his salvation. When David sinned he begged God not to take the holy Spirit from him, which would be a loss of his salvation. 2 Samuel 23:2 David 2 “The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; his word is on my tongue. I believe David has the dwelling of the Holy Spirit or if not the closest thing to it. There are other verses that that Israelites wore God out and grieved the holy Spirit. Then God killed them I believe with the snakes. In the old testament you could lose your salvation and under grace in the new you can't. In the tribulation you will be able to lose it again.

Salvation in the Christian context did not exist in the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit did not operate in the Earth like that either. The Holy Spirit did not come to Earth to walk with man in salvation till after Jesus Christ had resurrected and returned to Heaven.

Can you be saved without Jesus? Jesus said no one comes to the father but by him, was he misinformed? If you could get to heaven in the old testament why did Jesus have to come, we could all get to heaven the same way they did.

@adamrogers-bt7khThose were rare instances for people whom God was using. For example, Moses, David, and Joshua received the Holy Spirit when Moses laid hands on them. Basically, it was the anointing for leaders. That's exactly the point, though: no one had a regenerated heart or circumcised heart-not the disciples, Moses, or David. So, in Luke 8, you can't say they were regenerated to have faith and believe. You would need a Bible verse to show that, and there isn't one. You have to agree that no one before Acts 2 had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit yet they came to real saving faith. Thats it theres nothing more to debate.

@Jesus_is_God77 you just contradicted yourself? You stated the truth that before Jesus died and acts no one was indwelt with the holy spirit. If you think you can "keep" youre salvation you are calling God a Father who doesn't know how to discipline his own children. Where in the new testament did someone lose salvation after truly being regenerated and born again? You just proved my point so I guess you're right nothing more to debate. I think we agree but I don't understand are you saying you can be indwelt with the holy spirit and lose it? I am saying that's not possible OSAS
