Picked up a 76 Johnson 35hp console setup. I have 90 compression on both. I have spark when I do the spark plug on boot eye test. I have new gas lines and a good tank from my good boat, I removed carb and dipped in carb cleaner for thirty minutes and cleaned it with rag and strong air compressor (I cleaned lots of carb so I put it back together 100%), carb is getting full when I use bulb, I even filled it up and drained it with the drain screw first thing after putting carb back on, I have tried slow speed idle adjustment screw from 1 turn, to 2 full turns and everything in between as small increments….Still nothing. No smoke, no cough, no sneeze, no sound at all of any attempt to talk…..I really thought it would fire right up after I took my time cleaning and seeing all things lined up before started it (compression, spark, caeburation) I was wrong 😢 Any suggestions for me? Thanks I’m advance!
