Found this at the scrapyard a while ago, and thought it was time I do it. It so happens to be a product that our sponsor keeps stock of, I had a lot of fun bringing this one back to life, and it works pretty well too!

Beautiful restoration job you did restoring that oil pump. It not only works like a charm but it also looks much better as well. Excellent work.

Looks like it had a run-in with water before you rescued it from its trip to the scrapheap. Nicely done. 👍

Absolutely, I think the previous owner pumped water and let it sit. It got rust seized and they junked it. And that's where I got it at the metal recycling yard.

You could use Permatex Gasket Maker instead of the paper.

Does Adendorff own MacAfric or vice versa? For that matter, is MacAfric related to Mac Tools in the USA? Beautiful restoration, is there something that's supposed to go on the end of the metal tube, so pumping isn't as messy?
@AJRestoration
@AJRestoration 16 дней назад
Mac MacAfric is Adendorff's brand. I am not sure if its related to Mac tools in USA. I think a rubber hose can be fitted over the outlet to make the spilling better, I just could not keep it still enough for the small inlet of the container.

13:52 you can use a bearing ball to make the holes on the paper, just put it in place and give a little hit with the hammer

You could put the ants outside your house instead of taking them by the vacuum.
