Its the same one? Just has to use a different shell and screen since the screen was the wrong screen for the edition. And the husband fucked up the shell when trying to put the wrong screen in making the old shell worthless and probably loose asf and wouldn’t hold a screen in place
@@jeremym8748 I’d pay that, man. I have adhd, so welding is not my area. Soldering, no issues. Besides the one time I accidentally picked it up like it were a pen. I realised immediately, but I did partially burn off my finger prints for a period of time haha

My Xbox one wouldn't turn on either. Turns out I just needed a new power supply. I bought a 3rd party one from GameStop for ~$30 and it works great although the internal fan is a bit noisy.
you always need to desolder and clean the power switch when modding a gba because any dirt in there will cause issues with turning off even with full batteries, and the usb c battery doesn’t last long compared to rechargeable AAs

Did you not notice how the dude who sent it in had completely mangled the screen cutout? He cut the fuck out of it trying to get a sp screen to fit in a regular advance, it was in no way usable anymore dingus

I actually solder them to the start button anyway because I like to play Donkey Kong Land and you have to hold down the select button to use the animal's special abilities
That's an Nintendo DSi screen, It gives a more authentic look to the original. Clearly, they didn't look at the guide. Because with original cases, there's a lot of plastic you need to trim.
I personally believe it is bad practice to add in mods that were not requested without the consent of the patron. But maybe they gave you permission and you just didn't mention it. (They look pretty cool.)
Can you fix DS Lites? I have a 15 year old one that was gifted to me by my brother who was deployed in the Navy. He now lives in Thailand so I like having a bit of him near. The game cards work fine, but it will no longer read traditional cartridges. Even blowing in the cartridge and the port like an Atari doesn’t help.
