Saving Finland in America: An update from Finlandia Foundation National, July 2023. 

On Friday, July 28 during FinnFest USA 2023 in Duluth, Minnesota, Finlandia Foundation National presented an update on its work to preserve the cultural and heritage assets that were in jeopardy due to the closing this spring of Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan.
A capacity crowd of 200 watched a video about FFN's "Saving Finland in America" project and heard from a panel of FFN President Anne-Mari Paster, Trustee Tim Nurvala, Executive Director Tommy Flanagan and David Maki, director of the Finnish American Heritage Center and editor of the Finnish American Reporter.
