Yes ma’am I feel your pain. My garden sitter forgot to water several containers and didn’t water anything as throughly as they were used too. I had some very unhappy plants. Glad you didn’t loose a tree in the storm. I just went through that and it is NOT fun.

I just got back from a trip to the mountains. It’s been unbearably hot here in Georgia. I prepped by giving my garden several waterings that week. Normally I do two, this week I did three. I water my containers every day and watered them twice before I left. I was only gone for two days and everything looked good when I got back. Hope to get drip next year.

I have three of geraniums that don’t look beautiful but living. If I’m going for a short trip I give a bunch of water prior to leaving and as soon as I return if it’s daylight.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Geraniums. They remind me of my sweet grandmother, We gave them to her every year at Mother's Day. She would let me help plant them. Red the new of course. How disappointed I have a small balcony/container garden in part to full shade. No geranimus for me.

Hi Natea I just got back from Oregon and we had 5 days of a100+ my plants did good they grew wild!I deep water flowers,herbs,foods before I leave I had a neighbor water but I know it's not how I do it so I'm dealing with stress in my containers,I just go through the routine you do.I love the pot you used for your geranium and yes I grow them I water mine every few days and deadhead flowers and yellowed leaves and feed every two weeks.I can say I can neglect them Abit and they do fine in 9b.Hope you enjoyed your time away!God bless 🕊️💚p.s.I scored some hydrangea starts from my mil!!
