@@ky2226 If someone holds you down without your full consent, and injects an overdose to KILL you, that is killing you. These are healthy domestic companion animals with a will to live identical to you. You're a sentient being, a mammal. They are sentient beings, and mammals too. Our physiology works much the same. The drugs commonly used for killing these animals will kill you just the same. If we were in Germany, this practice of killing healthy domestic dogs and cats to make room in a shelter is prohibited. When slavery was a thing, I'm sure you would have been there saying that killing unwanted slaves was not murder. Well, it was murder. Geezus! People like you explain how concentration camps casually killing people (whomever those the Nazis rounded up) actually happened without much protest by enough people condemning it. Some humans, like you, are so over-the-top uselessly self-absorbed that you would have to be put in the very position of that animal to understand. So, come on let's do the same to you.
